Last week on The Bachelorette we met one of the bachelor’s girlfriends. Talk about drama but like all reality shows we quickly move on to the next element of surprise. On the June 17th episode Desiree starts her world tour searching for love in Atlantic City, New Jersey at a popular seaside resort.
The guys will compete in a Mr. America contest and the hunky men will be competing in a bathing competition that will not disappoint the ladies that watch the show nor Desiree. Lastly, like all pageants there will be “Crazy” performances and one lucky Bachelor with be crowned the winner.
Brad and Des will have the first date of the episode at the Steel Pier amusement park. The two seem to be having a great time eating and drinking but Brad will go home due to issues back home. Why? Will ABC let this play out on the show or is the issue private and Brad refuses to allow the viewers to know his personal struggle.
Superstorm Sandy seems so far away however the devastation that was left behind in New Jersey people still deal with it every day while in the rebuilding process. Desiree and James go on a date in Seaside Heights, New Jersey and view the damage done by Hurricane Superstorm Sandy. During the visit they meet a couple married for 38 years spending their anniversary at the Red Cross Shelter and lost everything in the Hurricane and no matter whom you are you feel the pain for the residents of New Jersey.
Will Desiree and James offer any surprises for the couple? The date will end with a private concert by Darius Rucker but for whom?
The night will end with the usual cocktail party where of course tension will be high as the men continue to compete for time with Desiree. There will be more fireworks in both good ways and bad and the men that remain at the end of the night will join Desiree in Munich, Germany.
