Tonight’s The Vampire Diaries returned to the CW and I am loving season 5, they have gone back to the old format and they are focusing more on the characters. I just cannot wait until the next episode, while you wait for next week’s episode, as usual, we have some juicy spoilers and a sneak peek video of “Monster’s Ball” for your enjoyment below!
On tonight’s show while Mystic Falls observes its traditional Remembrance Day to honor the dead, Damon and Elena try to help Stefan through a confusing time, a task that ends up taking Elena on an emotional journey of her own. A worried Matt tries to figure out the reason behind his mysterious blackouts and why Bonnie is not calling him back. Caroline makes an effort to get to know Jesse better. Jeremy makes a startling confession that hits Damon hard. He finally tells Damon that Bonnie is dead. Finally, Dr. Maxfield puts a plan in motion that will change everything. Official CW Synopsis: “On campus, Elena (Nina Dobrev) is touched by a sad and secretive student named Aaron (guest star Shaun Sipos). Elena and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) attend the Whitmore Historical Ball dressed as Anne Boleyn and Henry VIII. At the Ball, Elena shares a dance with Dr. Maxfield (guest star Rick Cosnett), who has a disturbing message for her. Caroline’s (Candice Accola) evening at the Ball takes her from happiness to heartbreak. Meanwhile, Nadia (guest star Olga Fonda) reveals her surprising history to Katherine (Nina Dobrev), and Damon tries to make a deal with Silas (Paul Wesley). Silas’ demand that Damon commit an unthinkable act leads to a violent confrontation.” Kat Graham and Zach Roerig also star.
Next week’s show is going to be aired on Halloween and it is going to be a Halloween episode and they are going to have a dance. We can expect some fantastic costumes, some bloody fights and some drama between our favorite couples.
Although on episode 4 it looked like Stefan is and Elena are getting closer, from the pictures from Monster Ball it is clear that Damon and Elena are still together. Caroline’s breakup with Tyler, that they have been hinting at all season is going to happen on this episode.
Silas is back and he wants Damon to kill Stefan. Meanwhile Damon thinks he can use Silas to bring Bonnie back, but Bonnie warns Jeremy that abusing magic always comes with a price.
