Adam tells Amber not to concern herself with what she does when she says she may be intimidated by Sasha’s voice. Amber wants to make her late mother proud. Adam tells Sasha to stop thinking about the song and just sign it.

During the show, Amber and Sasha represent Team Adam and belt out Pink’s ‘Try’. Blake says he was surprised to hear Amber doing a rock song but thinks Sasha did good as usual. Usher says he was impressed by both and these moments shape talent. Shakira says she wouldn’t like to be in Adam’s shoes since they are two of his best contestants. Adam says that this is one of the best battle rounds they’ve seen on the show.

Adam says that Amber no longer needs any lessons since she went from being nervous to being a professional. Adam says that Sasha is already a professional. Adam does not know who to pick initially for the battle but picks Amber! Adam says Amber exceeded his expectations.

Shakira and Usher try to steal Sasha and she is back in the game! Usher wants Sasha says some of the greatest moments in our careers is what we perceive as a lost but it’s a success. Usher thinks he can unlock Sasha’s greatness and that he can win the show with her.

Shakira says her stage presence is great and that she can win with her.

Sasha decides that Shakira will be her new coach! Usher says he didn’t see that coming.

Joel Madden is helping Shakira’s team. Garrett and J’sun will be battling each other. During rehearsals, Garrett admits that J’Sun’s falsetto is intimidating since he has struggled with it. Shakira sees potential in Garrett and sees a young Jim Morrison and thinks that J’sun needs to feel the lyrics. J’sun feels that he can no longer underestimate Garrett. J’sun says he wants to win because he doesn’t want to be a receptionist for the rest of his life and Garett wants to follow in his dad’s footsteps.

During the show, they sing “How You Like Me Now”.

Adam says that he definitely gts it now and says Garrett is amazing. Blake says that J’sun played around with his falsetto. He also says that Garrett has gone from decent to great and that he’d probably pick Garrett. Usher says that J’sun really turned it up and it feels like he was giving a sermon.  Shakira says that J’sun came in as an R&B singer but can do any genre now.

Shakira picks Garrett.

Blake wants Michelle and Holly to sing “Blown Away”. Sheryl Crow is their mentor. Blake says Holly has a sweet voice but it sounded too voice for the purposes of today’s rehearsal. Holly knows the song is about abuse and will have to get into character. Blake says that Michelle sounds a bit pitchy.

After their performance, Usher thinks they were incredible; that they both pushed and challenged the other. Shakira thinks that they were fierce and that they made their coach proud. Adam thinks Holly was better but thinks they both did a fantastic job.

Blake says that he’s the only one that turned around for Michelle but he wonders if the other coaches were in comas. Blake says that Holly set the bar so high that she has the challenge of getting there again. Blake feels like it was a tie and he feels that he has to go with what’s natural and for him that’s country. He picks Holly.

Jess and Taylor will be battling for Usher’s vote.  Pharrell is the guest mentor. Usher wants them to sing Amy Winehouse’s “You Know I’m No Good”. Usher thinks that Jess has a warm tone. Usher says he wants them to make it hard for him to make a decision.

Shakira thinks that Jess has a velvety voice while Taylor has a thin voice that can do certain things. Shakira says she would probably pick Taylor. Adam says that Jess has a robust voice but he would probably go with Taylor.

Blake says that Taylor sounded tortured which fits the song but he enjoyed Jess more since she seemed to be enjoying herself. Usher says that he can’t say that they both 100% lit it on fire and the work will only get harder from here. Usher chooses Jess to go to the knockout round.

None of the coaches want to steal Taylor at first but Blake steals her at the last minute! Blake jokes that he knew Usher would go against his opinion.

Christian and the Swan Brothers are given “Won’t Back Down” by Blake. Sheryl Crow says she likes it when they sing in harmony. Christian is upset because he’s struggling with a note. Sheryl thinks Christian just needs to believe that he can sing out there with the two other guys. Blake thinks the Swann brothers are all over the place and need to tighten it up.

Usher says her performance will be great and it will be hard for Blake. Shakira says she’d probably take the Swan brothers. Adam says that Christian really delivered on the note he had been struggling with.

Blake says it’s best for him to stick with what he knows and he picks the Swann brothers in the battle of teammates.  There is no steal for Christian.

In the final battle of the night, it’s Judith vs. Karrinna. They rehearse with Adam. They will be singing It’s A Man’s world. The two receive a standing ovation after the performance. Blake says that battles shouldn’t sound this good. Usher says that the two of them showcased their talents. Shakira liked witnessing so much female power.

Adam says it was the best battle he’s ever seen on the show. Adam  says he was floored but the winner is Judith! Adam says there’s something about her because she oozes charisma and confidence. Shakira steals Karrina!
