On last night’s DANCING WITH THE STARS the couples fought for their survival and had to step up their game. A new challenge was thrown down by head judge Len Goodman called, “Len’s Side By Side Challenge.” After last night’s show at the top of the leader board are Zendaya and professional dancer Val Chmerkovskiy and at the bottom of the leader board tied are D. L Hughley and professional dancer Cheryl Burke and Andy Dick and professional dancer Sharna Burgess. Did you see last night’s episode? We did and we recapped it here for you!
On last night’s show the nine remaining couples hit the dance floor and face an exciting new challenge. In another first for “Dancing with the Stars,” a new twist called “Len’s Side By Side Challenge” tasks each couple to perform a portion of their individual dance alongside a pro dance couple.
Zendaya ruled the dance floor with her Argentine Tango and the judges scored her a 29/30 and had this to say about her performance. Bruno said, “A tale of entrapment, deceit and desire. The ultimate femme fatale. You were as good as the professional, you are up there with the best we have ever had.” Carrie Ann said, “You are so tall, that had to kill your thighs. Every move you had is a story, I loved it.” Len said, “It was like a lemon tart. Well done, a gem of a dance, well done!”

Logic dictates that one of the two couples with the lowest scores – D. L/Cheryl and Andy/Sharna – will be leaving the competition, but unfortunately the cookie doesn’t necessarily crumble that way. In the past we’ve seen high scoring couples take the fall alongside low scoring couples, so in the end, the competition comes down to your vote at home. Who should leave? Vote in our trusty poll and let us know in the comments below which two couples you think should be going home tonight.
