THE VOICE continued last night on NBC and the Final 5 took to the stage for their Semifinal performance and gave it their all for America’s votes. Yes we are down to Amber Carrington, Danielle Bradbery, Michelle Chamuel, Sasha Allen and The Swon Brothers. Believe me last night they gave their do-or-die performances, they all want to get one of the three convened spots in the finale.
There were some fantastic performances last night as the artists performed two songs and it is going to be hard to predict who will make to the finale. The judges were on a total love fest and loved everyone. Did you watch last night’s performance show? We did and werecapped it here for you.
Let’s see how all the singers did last night before we give you our poll to vote in – I am choosing my favorite song of the two they did to look at.
Sasha Allen sang, “I will Always Love You” by Whitney Houston. She dedicated the song to the two most important people in her life, her children. [VIDEO HERE] She knocked it out of the park, it was amazing! Adam said, “That is one of the hardest songs to sing, I have nightmares about them, they are incredible hard to deal with. You did an incredible job, you were not intimidating anyone and you did it your own way. Great job!”
Michelle Chamuel sang “Time After Time” by Cyndi Lauper [VIDEO HERE] and she dedicated the song to Usher. She brought the house down. I like her but I can’t say I loved this song, but the judges loved it! Usher said, “Thank you so much for dedicating this to me. My God, you are the winner. We continue to let the world know you can do what you want to do.”
Danielle Bradbery sang “Who Am I” by Jessica Andrews [VIDEO HERE] a fabulous rendition. Usher said, “The audience love it and you made us feel how much you love your family. Incredible performance. That is why you are still here.”
Amber Carrington dedicated her song to her friends in Texas and she sang Katy Perry’s “Firework.” [VIDEO HERE] The judges loved the song, me not so much. Blake said, “At the beginning of it I was not sure because it was not a country song. But by the end the power of your voice was phenominal. You are just so good.”
The Swon brothers sang, “Danny’s Song” by Kenny Logins. [VIDEO HERE] they were amazing and the audience and judges loved them. Adam said, “I was excited because that is one of my favorite songs and it is the first one I have known very well you have done. You did an amazing version.”
