THE VOICE continued last night on NBC and the Final 6 took to the stage and gave it their all for America’s votes. Yes we are down to Amber Carrington, Danielle Bradbery, Michelle Chamuel, Holly Tucker, Sasha Allen and The Swon Brothers. Believe me last night they gave their do-or-die performances, they all want to be in the semi-finals.
There were some fantastic performances last night as the artists performed two songs and it is going to be hard to predict who will be sent home. Did you watch last night’s performance show? We did and we recapped it here for you.
Let’s see how all the singers did last night before we give you our poll to vote in: Holly Tucker sang Martina McBride’s “When God-Fearin’ Women Get the Blues” for Blake’s choice. Usher enjoyed the theatrics but he did want to see more even though it was a “pretty good” performance. Shakira and Adam don’t add anything critical. While her mentor, after being thanked for his Oklahoma tribute, can sing nothing but praise for Holly.
Michelle Chamuel sang Keane’s “Somewhere Only We Know” for Usher’s choice. Shakira actually hands praise to Usher for Michelle’s performance because of how far the artist came vocally.
The Swon Brothers sang Old Crow Medicine Show’s “Wagon Wheel” and that was their choice. Carson asks for Shakira’s take on the boys duet and after more “umms” she eventually replies in her broken English that she enjoyed it. Adam loved that both the music and back up dancers kept the song but also entertaining.
Sasha Allen sang Aretha Franklin’s “Ain’t No Way” for her song choice. Her soulful Aretha performance gets a “wow” from Carson before he question Adam on how he felt to let Sasha go from his team. Adam calls himself a fool and congratulates Sasha for her best performance yet.
Danielle Bradbery sang Pam Tillis’ “Shake the Sugar Tree” and the song was Blake’s choice. Danielle received a standing ovation from proud papa Blake. On the other hand felt that at one point she was a little nervous he does applaud her performance. Danielle was another artist Adam missed out on getting her on his team.
Amber Carrington sang Skid Row’s “I Remember You” and the song was Adam’s choice. Out of all the performers she was the only one to step out of the vocal box. Adam actually gets heartfelt when he told her how incredible she was.
