Looks like someone got caught! Ha. Zac Efron was spotted at a New York sex shop, Fantasy World, last night filming his latest movie, Are We Officially Dating?, but oddly, there were no cameras around to film any of the scenes that Zac had claimed he was there to shoot. In no way are we suggesting that the former High School Musical star is lying about filming a movie at that particular sex shop, however, we do think that Efron purposely used the “I’m working on a new movie” excuse to get away with what he was really doing — buying a couple of sex toys.
What’s the matter, Zac? Having trouble getting it up? Ha! According to a new report, when the 25-year old noticed a photographer snapping pictures of him inside the building – having hoped that no one would find him there – he rushed after the paparazzo, pleading him to remove the pictures from his camera because he didn’t want his fans to think he was up to no good. One eye-witness said: “Zac was begging the guy to delete the pictures. He kept telling him that he has so many young fans and he didn’t want them to see it.”
While the photographer was busy trying to find the highest bidder to sell the pictures to, Efron was already a step ahead as he phoned up his publicist so that they can tell the media that the actor was there to work, not to enjoy the view of sex toys all up in his face! Ha. We still don’t believe it. Anytime you have to make a call to your publicist to forewarn the press on some pictures that are about to hit the internet, it’s very suspicious.
Yesterday’s visit to the sex shop isn’t the actor’s first, either. Since he started filming the new movie a couple of weeks ago, he has been telling friends he’s strictly “doing research” for his role as opposed to just admitting that he likes going to the sex shop! It’s always good to try out new things, but becoming obsessed with them is an entire different thing, wouldn’t you agree?
