Tonight on TLC 19 Kids and Counting returns with another new episode. On tonight’s episode “Graduation & a Surprise” it’s Josiah’s graduation, but he gets interrupted with a problem. Anna and Josh prepare their holiday meal, but they also get interrupted with a surprising call.
On the last episode Erin Bates got married and the Duggars traveled to Tennessee to lend a hand. The girls helped Erin with some last minute to-dos while the boys cooked up some mischief. Tonight’s episode of 19 Kids And Counting begins with the Duggards returning from the Bate’s wedding and preparing for Josiah’s graduation party (and he invited nearly 400 people). It takes the family nearly two hours just to unload their bus and put away all of their luggage. After Josiah’s graduation party the Duggars are going to repack all their stuff and head to Washington to see Josh and Anna.
Meanwhile in Washington Anna is loading up her kids and heading to the grocery store to get everything she needs to cook dinner for the entire Duggar family. Anna decides to cheat a little and try to buy a pre-cooked turkey. Unfortunately the store is out so she has to get a frozen turkey and learn how to cook it.
It’s time for Josiah’s big graduation party. Ben Siewald’s entire family joined the Duggar’s for the graduation party since he is currently courting their daughter Jessa. Josiah’s brothers and sisters and parents all give speeches at the party about how proud they are of Josiah for reaching this major milestone in his life. And, Jessa reminds all of the girls there that Josiah is currently single and ready to mingle.
In Washington Josh arrives home from work and Anna has a project for him. She wants him to clean out all of the storage in their spare room and paint it and put a set of beds in it so that they have enough room for the entire Duggar family to sleep comfortably. Josh has his friend Skylar over to lend a hand and help him remodel the room.
While Anna is trying to defrost the turkey she receives a phone call from Jim Bob, he says they are arriving a day early and will be at their house in five hours. There was a big winter snow storm brewing so Jim Bob decided to leave early and drive through the night so that they make it to Washington before the storm hits.
Josh and Anna begin working double time trying to finish dinner and finish painting in less than five hours. Anna opens the oven and smoke begins pouring out and she sets off all of the smoke detectors. While she is racing around trying to open the windows and air out the kitchen, the door bell rings…the Duggars have arrived.
