2014 Golden Globe Winners Predicted by Search Data Compiled by Bing – Will Your Fave Bring Home the Gold?

The 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards are right around the corner and, when Amy Poehler and Tina Fey descend upon our TV sets this Sunday evening, we’ll be ready to cheer on some of our fave nominees — including Zooey Deschanel, who just so happens to be the frontrunner in the Best Actress in a Television Series (Comedy) category. According to search data collected by Bing,  Zooey accounts for approximately 50% of searches while Amy Poehler, funny lady and co-host for the evening, is pulling in about 20% of searches.

In terms of the Best Picture category, two of the year’s most-hyped movies, The Wolf of Wallstreet and American Hustle, are raking in the searches; however, American Hustle, featuring Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper, is coming in hot at spot #1.

Not long after Bradley Cooper was nominated for Best Supporting Actor, searches for the actor rose dramatically, quickly exceeding the searches of fellow actors nominated in his category. Bradley pulled in nearly 90% of all the searches, with Jared Leto and Michael Fassbender coming in second and third.

If you’re curious about what the world thinks about Best Actress in a Television Series (Drama), then you’re probably not going to be saddened by the fact that Robin Wright and Kerry Washington are neck-and-neck for the top spot. Together, they account for nearly 84% of the searches within their category! Wowza.

If these search numbers are any indication of who’ll score the gold come Sunday evening, then we’re going to be in for a fun night! We’d love to see any one of these incredible performers win.
