American Ninja Warrior NBC’s obstacle course competition airs tonight with a new episode called “Denver Qualifying”. On tonight’s show a qualifying round takes place in Denver.
On the last episode of “American Ninja Warrior” a qualifying round in Miami featured the Dancing Stones, the Downhill Pipe Drop and the Mine Field. Contestants included wakeboard champions Rusty Malinoski and Shaun Murray; Olympians Fabien Lefevre and Preston Griffall; and former Las Vegas finalists Joyce Shahboz, Drew Drechsel and David “Flip” Rodriguez. On tonight’s episode the final qualifying round takes place in Denver and features the Cat Grab and Doorknob Grasper obstacles. Contestants include former competitor Brian Arnold; mixed-martial-arts fighter Michelle Waterson; Bull Bullard of the Harlem Globetrotters; BMX champ Morgan Wade; and fitness blogger Drew Manning.

On tonight’s episode of American Ninja Warrior another round of tryouts take place in Denver, Colorado. The Denver obstacle course is made up of the quintuple steps, the cat grab (an 8 foot job), the spinning log, spikes into cargo, the devil steps, and the infamous warped wall.
The first competitor to attempt to complete the Denver course is 26-year-old Janet Shaver. She makes it through the quintuple steps, however the cat grab gets the best of her and she falls in the water.
Up next is newbie Josiah Gowan. He makes it through the quintuple steps and the cat grab, but unfortunately the spinning log gets the best of him and he falls.
Natalie Wisniewesky is the next athlete to attempt to complete the America Ninja Warrior obstacle course, she is confident she will pass through the course with ease, she actually doesn’t make it through the quintuple steps.
Carl Fantauzzo, a liquor store owner from Rochester, New York, is the next competitor to try to complete the American Ninja Warrior course. Carl moves through the quintuple steps, the cat grab, the spinning log, the spike grab, and the devil steps. Unfortunately after three attempts he can’t conquer the warped wall.
Up next is American Ninja alum and Harlem Globe Trotter Bull Bullard. Bull cruises through the quintuple steps, the cat grab, the spinning log, the hanging spikes, and unfortunately falls on the devil steps.
The next athlete to attempt to conquer the American Ninja Warrior course is Professor Joel Brady. Brady cruises through the quintuple steps, the spinning log, the cat grab, and the hanging spikes. Unfortunately after three attempts he can’t conquer the warped wall.
The next competitor in Denver is 24-year-old Cordelia Bifford, a Parkour coach. Unfortunately, Cordelia only makes it through the quintuple steps and the cat grab, and falls trying to cross the spinning log.
Up next is Utah native and American Ninja Rookie, Karson Voiles. Karson moves through the quintuple steps, the cat grab, the spinning log, the hanging spikes, and the devil steps. Voiles cruises up the warped wall and is the first competitor tonight to complete the course, and with a time of 2:00.
28-year-old Laura Kisana is the next athlete to try to conquer the Denver course. Kisana cruises through the quintuple steps, the cat grab, the spinning log, and unfortunately loses her grip on the hanging spikes and falls into the water.
Michelle Waterson, an MMA fighter from New Mexico, is the next contestant to try and complete the America Ninja Warrior course. Unfortunately she fell on the first quintuple steps and is out of the competition.
Lance Pekus, an American Ninja Warrior alum and rancher from Idaho, is the next athlete to compete on the Dencer Course. Lance flies through the quintuple steps, the cat grab, the spinning log, the hanging spike, and the devil steps. He conquers the warped wall on his first attempt and finishes with the fastest time so far tonight 1:20.
Anthony Scott, a 30-year-old correction officer, tries his luck on the America Ninja Warrior course. Scott runs through the quintuple step, the cat grab, the spinning log, the hanging spikes, and then, after he completes the final obstacle, he touches the water with his foot and is unfortunately disqualified.
Lorin Ball, a gym owner and break dancer, flies through the quintuple steps, the cat grab, the spinning log, the hanging spike, and the devil steps. He flies up the warped wall on his first attempt and completes the course in record breaking time, 1:04.
52-year-old Jon Stewart hopes to be the first American Ninja Warrior over the age of 50 to make it to the top of the warped wall. Stewart flies through the quintuple steps, cat grab, the spinning lob, the hanging spikes, and the devil steps. Unfortunately, after three attempts, he can’t make it up the warped wall.
Faye Gulini, a two-time snowboarding Olympian, tries to conquer the American Ninja Warrior course next. She falls on just the second quintuple steps and is out of the competition before she barely starts.
Up next is rock climber and pole vaulter Meagan Martin. Meagan cruises through the quintuple steps, the cat grab, the spinning log, the hanging spikes, and the devil steps. On her third attempt she scales the warped wall, and is only the third woman in history to complete the American Ninja Course.
The final athlete to appear tonight is Brain Arnold, an American Ninja Warrior alum, runs through the quintuple steps, the cat grab, the spinning log, the hanging spikes, and the devil steps with ease. He scales the warped wall on his first attempt and competes the Denver course in 2:31.
