Three-time World Cup Para-snowboard champion Amy Purdy danced a Argentine Tango to “Heart Upon My Sleeve” by Avicii, on tonight’s season 18 episode 8 of Dancing with the Stars with Derek Hough for their DWTS quarter final performance. We posted a nifty bio of Amy Purdy so you can get more familiar with her. Abby Lee Miller of “Dance Moms” joined Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba as a guest judge for the evening. The anticipated quarter finals begin as Pro Mark Ballas makes his solo recording artist debut singing his new single “Get My Name,” along with his band and the house band “Ray Chew Live.”
Amy Purdy and professional dancer Derek Hough: dancing a Argentine Tango. Amy has been getting ready for her dance tonight. She tweeted, “This week was a tough one. Trying to dance when your muscles are in severe spasm and pulling on ribs. I’m grateful to be feeling better!!!”
Judges comments: Abby: “I know we are suppose to critique the guest but Derek a great choreographer makes a dancer look good. Amy my students are here and I better never hear I am too tired, I am too hungry. I don’t care look at this women.” Bruno: “She is write this was totally spell-bounding, perfection!” Carrie Ann: “You know season 18 we have seen it all it is surprising anything can get me so excited. I stopped watching a couple of times. This season the competition is so high. You put your self in a class of your own.” Len: “If I am dreaming don’t wake me up. That was terrific. This whole competition is brilliant I have no idea who is going home. Well done!”
