Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross have gotten married in a lavish Bohemian themed wedding. The wedding was held in the house of Evan’s mother, the legendary Diana Ross, in Greenwich Connecticut. Diana serenaded the couple with “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” and “Lovely Day.” As they exchanged vows, a choir sang the Stevie Wonder hit “You & I.”
Jessica Simpson was the maid of honor. Girlfriends Trace Ellis Ross and Cacee Cobb were also part of the bridal party. Jessica’s daughter, Maxwell, was the flower girl. Evan’s groom party included Scrubs actor and Cacee Cobb’s hubby, Donald Faison, and Jessica’s husband, Eric Johnson.
Ashlee was walked down the aisle by her son, Bronx Mowgli Wentz, wearing a pearl embellished lace gown and $75,000 worth of Neil Lane rubies and diamonds. Her outfit was topped off with a gorgeous tiara. Diddy and Brandy were part of the guest list. The menu included salad made of burrata and mozzarella cheese, vegetables, garlic croutons, prosciutto, and baby arugula dressed with olive oil. The rest was buffet style and featured an assortment of delicious concoctions!
Ashlee’s parents, Tina and Joe, were in attendance, too. Tina has moved on from their separation as she cozied up to her date. Evan and Ashley confirmed their relationship in July 2013 and got engaged in January.
