Catherine Zeta-Jones Lays Down the Law For Michael Douglas – Cheating Forbidden!

Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas split up last summer, leading many of us to assume that a divorce was already in the works. That’s how it always is in Hollywood right? Separation usually does mean that the divorce details are already being ironed out. But not with these two. Instead we watched the couple slowly but surely patch things up until we heard earlier this year that they had fully reconciled. Sure they seem happy again but don’t think for a minute that Catherine hasn’t laid down the law.

According to the April 14th print edition of Star magazine the reconciliation does come with ground rules for Michael. Basically since he rallied so hard to get his family back that means that the family needs to come first. He has to put the family ahead of work and Catherine is also insisting that Michael switch off his phone at night so that the steady stream of calls doesn’t interrupt their time together. He also is in charge of their domestic staff. And the number one rule is no more Elizabeth Vargas for Michael! We’re not saying that Michael was cheating with Elizabeth but, you know how it is, right?

Since Michael worked so hard to get his family all back together under one roof then he probably feels that his wife’s requests are pretty fair. It sounds like rather than just saying he wanted to fix it Catherine demanded that he take steps to prove that he was serious. Were you surprised to hear that these two had actually managed to patch things up? Do you think that they’ll remain together for the long haul now or is this reconciliation a temporary fix? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
