Christina Grimmie The Voice “How to Love” Video 5/5/14 #TheVoice

Team Adam Levine’s last contestant Christina Grimmie took the stage tonight on THE VOICE for her Top 8 live performance.  Kristen sang “How to Love” by Lil’ Wayne.  On tonight’s show the remaining artists from each coach, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, Usher and Shakira’s team performed live for America’s vote and the chance to move on to the Top 6.  Did you miss tonight’s episode?  If you did miss it, we watched it and we recapped it right here for you.

On last week’s episode Christina sang “Hold On We’re Going Home” by Drake and Adam had this to say about his performance, “Adam says that Christina came to Adam with the song, she wanted to do it this way and believed the choice of song was perfect; the moment gave him goosebumps and he is so proud of her.”

On tomorrow night’s episode America will vote to eliminate two artists from the competition. The three artists with the least number of votes will face elimination and sing once again in hopes to stay in the competition. One will remain by surviving the Instant Save and the other two will be eliminated.

On tonight’s episode Blake Shelton, a multiple Grammy Award nominee, will be joined by former “Voice” artists Gwen Sebastian, who was a member of Team Blake during the show’s second season in 2012. Sebastian went on to tour with Blake following her time on “The Voice.” season seven coaches Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani will sing their respective hit singles. Pharrell will perform “Come Get It Bae” from his new album, “Girl.” Stefani will perform “Hollaback Girl” from her debut solo album, “Love. Angel. Music. Baby.”
