Robin Williams’ two children with second wife Marsha Garces have now both released public statements about their father’s death. Daughter Zelda Rae Williams, 25, has been more vocal than her younger brother, Cody Williams about their father’s death. Cody, 22, has now spoken out about his father’s tragic suicide.
His statement expresses a genuine love for his father, “There are no words strong enough to describe the love and respect I have for my father. The world will never be the same without him. I will miss him and take him with me everywhere I go for the rest of my life, and will look forward, forever, to the moment when I get to see him again.” Cody’s older sister Zelda mirrored much of the same sentiments in her tweets about their father and today expressed gratitude on behalf of the family for donations made to St. Jude in their father’s honor. St. Jude was a charity that was very near and dear to Williams, so the family was very touched and honored by the outpouring of support, and for the generous donations.
Cody, born on November 25, 1991, studied music production and has worked as a production assistant and DJ, but mainly stays under the radar, according to Daily Entertainment News. He is close to his siblings and they are all rallying around one another as they try to get through this tragically difficult time together.
Robin’s eldest son, Zachary Pym Williams, son of Valerie Velardi, also released a touching statement earlier today. It seems that Robin was much loved and will be sorely missed. What an awful tragedy his shocking suicide has been.
