My favourite television show DALLAS returns tonight to TNT with a new episode called, “Playing Chicken.” On tonight’s episode Bobby tries to out maneuver John Ross in a race to secure capital for an Arctic lease auction. On last week’s episode on the heels of Nicolas’ arrival, John Ross went to great lengths to keep his plans for Ewing Global moving forward, locking horns with Bobby in the process. Meanwhile, Sue Ellen’s suspicions of John Ross’ infidelity threatened to derail her alliance with her son. Harris Ryland’s surprise return created concern and Emma enlisted the help of her grandmother (guest star Judith Light). Bobby and Ann’s investigation into Ryland’s release from jail led to a shocking revelation.
On tonight’s episode the race to secure capital for the impending Arctic Lease auction has Bobby scrambling to outmaneuver John Ross’ efforts to frack on Southfork. While Nicolas and Elena’s partnership heats up, Christopher makes a startling discovery about Nicolas’ past, and Emma’s games put John Ross and Pamela’s upcoming wedding in jeopardy.

Bobby and Ann are dropped back off at their car. They are in total shock still. Bobby says he can’t believe Harris is working with the CIA and Ann worries about Emma’s safety. He promises to beef up security and keep them safe at Southfork.
John Ross and Pamela make pancakes and he feeds her sweetly. He squirts her with some whipped cream and licks it off her when Emma comes in. She tells them not to stop on her account and flashes John Ross her hot body in a swimsuit when Pamela turns away. She heads out to the pool. Sue Ellen watches this all from the hallway unhappily as her son ogles Emma.
Bobby tells Dave that he wants extra men on the fence line and extra men on the gate. He says he wants all the ranch hands armed. He gets a call and tells Bobby they’ve got trouble. They ride off. John Ross is brawling with some ranch hands over the fracking. Bobby slows his roll so that John Ross gets an extra helping of ass kicking before he steps in. He tells the hands that he knows they’re upset and says he’s upset too. He says no one will lose their jobs because he’s going to shut down the drilling.
Bobby tells John Ross that’s what you get when threaten a man’s livelihood. He sends the hands back off to work. John Ross tells him that Cliff is the enemy, not him. Bobby tells him he’s going about things wrong and stalks off.
Emma lays by the pool. Ann and Sue Ellen sit on the balcony eating and planning the wedding. Sue Ellen can’t stop staring at Emma and Ann asks her what’s going on. Sue Ellen tells her that she may be crazy but tells her she thinks Emma and John Ross are having a thing. She tells her she saw John Ross leaving her room the other night and saw them making eyes at each other. Ann asks if she’s talked to John Ross but Sue Ellen says cheaters are also liars. Ann tells her she was right about Emma using drugs and may be right about this too. Sue Ellen says she’ll deal with it.
At the prion in Mexico, Christopher come to see Cliff. He ask the guard for a coffee and take a seat. Christopher tells him he won’t be able to buy his way out of jail. He’s there to talk about Nicolas and says he knows he wasn’t in business with him before this little scenario. Cliff tells him he knows they framed him and Christopher says he has no one to blame but himself after he killed his unborn children. Cliff tells him that he didn’t kill JR and the truth will come out and he’ll be set free. Christopher walks out.
Outside the jail, someone watches Christopher. A little kid runs into him and then runs off. The kid hands the guy Christopher’s wallet and runs off. The car drives away following Christopher.
Nicolas tells Elena that he’ll work on Rhonda while she investigates the theft of the gun from the range. She drops him off and goes to do her part. At the salon, Nicolas comes in and tells Rhonda that she dropped the envelope. He shows her that there’s $25k in it and tells her he knows she lied about Cliff being where JR was. He tells her he knows how hard it is to fight for every scrap but the Ewings take advantage of people like them. He offers her the money in exchange for the truth. She hesitates and he tells her he’s learned to take good luck when it comes around. She hesitates again and he gives her his card and tells her she has 24 hours to think about it.
Emma rubs lotion on as Ann comes out to talk to her and John Ross come sin the gate. Ann watches the steamy look they share. She tells her daughter that her swimsuit is pretty small and she needs to dress less provocatively around John Ross. Ann tells her there are some safety issues and she needs to stick close to the ranch. Emma blows up at her and stalks off. Pamela invites her to go honeymoon shopping with her and Emma arches her brow and agrees to go along and find lingerie to make John Ross happy.
Bobby meets with the railroad commissioner and tells him about John Ross’ fracking project. He asks him to deny the railway permit he needs. He tells him if the ecosystem is threatened he can do it but otherwise he can’t deny it or the oil industry would be all over him. Bobby tells him someone has to fight the Sierra Club. Bobby says the oil lobby is getting their money out of him.
Bo comes to see John Ross at his office upon request. He asks if he wanted to finish the fight or fire him. John Ross tells him that he has it on good authority that he’s been dealing drugs on the ranch. He says he only has Emma’s word on that and John Ross tosses down a bag of pills and threatens him with the police and Bobby. John Ross tells him the ranch hands can make a lot more by working on his project with him. He says Bobby is the past and he’s the future. He wants Bo to get the ranch hands to work for him…
Ann come to see Harris. She tells him that she holds him responsible for the danger Emma is facing. She tells him Emma is acting out and taking unnecessary risks. Ann tells him he should tell Emma about the CIA. He say if Emma pulls another stunt they could all end up dead. He tells her he loves Emma and doesn’t want either of them in danger. Ann tells him Emma might be shagging John Ross.
At the lingerie shop, Emma asks Pamela how she know John Ross was “the one” and she explains they’re a lot alike and know the worst about each other so they can be honest. Pamela asks if she’s got a beau and Emma says she met a new guy but it’s mostly just hot sex. Pamela tells her she knows how that is because her hubby is hot in the sack.
Sue Ellen lunches with Bum and tells him she’s sorry. She says she should never have asked him to spy on her son. Bum says it’s his job. She tells him every time she sees John Ross and Emma together she feels sick to her stomach. She says she’s haunted by JR’s philandering ghost and Bum says JR’s ghost is a scary idea. She thanks him for telling him the truth and she’s glad that she was wrong. She guilts him about not telling her all about JR’s cheating for all those years. She tells him Pamela is a good girl who deserves more than a marriage based on lies. She toasts the happy couple and Bum looks chagrined.
In Mexico, Christopher heads into a bodega. He asks for Eduardo Vega and that’s the clerk. He tells him he knows Nicolas ruined him by stealing some pharmaceutical research. Vega tells him they were partner and his name was on the patent but Nicolas faked a contract saying it was work for hire. He tells him he fought him for 15 years in court and wasted all his money. He tells him Nicolas always wins. He asks why Christopher want to know and he says Nicolas is in his family business and he want to know why and his motives. Vega reveals that Nicolas went by another name and hands over a file that shows he had no ID or existence before 1997. He says he should ask who he was before he was Nicolas Trevino.
[10:02:13 PM] Rachel Rowan: At the gun range, Elena shoots the crotch out of her target. She asks for a new target and magazine. The range master asks what’s up and she says her BF cheated on her right there at the range. He offers her revenge assistance and shows her security footage but the dates she wants are missing!
Harris goes to Judith and tells her that Emma took some of his files and gave them to John Ross. Judith tells him that John Ross is nice looking and that’s his problem. Harries tells her the files had some bad information about her so it’s her problem too. Judith tells him they can work out a compromise with John Ross to get the files back. She says by we I mean me.
At the office, John Ross gives Bum back the pills and says he’s got Bo in line. Emma comes in and he asks her for a minute to finish up with Bum. Bum chews him out about fooling around with Emma. He says he has to keep hooking up with her unless they can get Harris back in jail. Bum tells him he should be focused on Judith not Harris since she wears the pants in the family.
John Ross asks Emma if she has control over her grandma and she says she does. She unzips her dress and shows him a sexy corset and stockings. She asks if green is her color and he says it is and it’s now his favorite color too. He goes to take it off but she tells him to leave it in because she got it special for him and wants him to remember her wearing it.
Bum comes and tells Sue Ellen he lied about Emma and John Ross and says he’s sorry. She tells him he’s not near as sorry as she is.
Christopher comes out of his hotel and a car pulls up to ask him why he’s checking on Nicolas. They offer to help. They ask him to come with them and he asks why he would do that and they tell him if he wants answers he needs to come. He climbs in.
John Ross meets with the ranch hands and tells them he knows you shouldn’t mess with a man’s livelihood. He tells them he’s not the enemy and they can make plenty working for him. Bobby shows up and tells him he can’t stop him. He tells him his little friend can help him and shows him a chicken he has in a cage. It’s a lesser prairie chicken native to the area. John Ross says he’s never heard of it and Bobby tells him they’re endangered and the Sierra Club wants to know if the fracking will endanger the species. He says it will take months to clear up. John Ross isn’t happy with his uncle.
Nicolas cooks for Elena while she mixes a martini. She asks him if Rhonda called. He says no and she says the Ewings are a step ahead and stole the surveillance footage. She doesn’t think Rhonda will call but he does. He rubs her shoulders and tells her they’re fighting for justice so they will win. Elena says she want to believe him and he tells her there’s no turning back. She turns and they come close to kissing when his phone rings. It’s Rhonda and she wants to meet him. He tells her he told it would be okay.
Nicolas heads out for the meet in an empty parking lot. Rhonda is already there and he hands her the money and tells her she made the right call to tell the truth. But then Bobby gets out of the car and tells Nicolas that Rhonda called him for advice. He tells her to go ahead and tell Nicolas the truth. Rhonda tells him she was at the club and saw JR and Cliff at the club and that Cliff followed JR out. Bobby tells him he knows the truth hurts and Nicolas says it will be interesting to see who it hurts more.
Pamela is lighting candles when John Ross comes in and greets her warmly. She pulls off her robe and she’s in the exact corset set that Emma was in. He’s having Emma flashbacks. She asks if he had a rough day at the office and he agrees. She kisses him while he can only think of Emma. Pamela throws him down and climbs on him. He tells her he’s not feeling great and asks for a rain check. He tells her he needs a shower. She looks crushed. Pamela sits down on the bed clearly upset.
Elena looks out the window when Nicolas comes back. He tells her that Bobby was there but they have other places to look. Elena says maybe she should accept that the Ewings will always win. Nicolas tells her that’s not the way it is. He takes her hand and tells her he has things to tell her now that fate has brought them together again. He tells her that has never wanted a woman more than he’s wanted her and she’s always been in his heart. He kisses her. She kisses back and it’s on like Donkey Kong. (and by that I mean hot monkey sex!)
Christopher is brought to Nicolas’ compound. There are armed guards everywhere. A woman comes to greet him. She introduces her children and says that they live in constant fear of the cartels. She apologizes for bringing him there in an unorthodox manner. She asks what he needs to know about Nicolas and he says everything. She tells him that should be easy since she’s his wife! OMG!
