Days of Our Lives spoilers and coming and going news reveal that DOOL alum Camila Banus is returning to the NBC soap opera as Gabi Hernandez just before Christmas on December 22. The last time we saw Gabi, she was headed to prison for murdering Nick Fallon, after a twisted whodunit murder mystery that resulted in her accepting a plea deal for roughly twenty years of jail time. Gabi left behind her daughter Arianna with her ex Will and his new husband Sonny, and her brother Rafe is still devastated over his little sister’s trip to prison.
According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Camila Banus will return on December 22 as Gabi Hernandez. Banus took to Twitter on December 15th and announced, “So the news is out! I will be back on Days on December 22nd!” Considering the fact that Gabi hasn’t even been in prison for a year, we are going to assume that Camila’s appearance will be a short one. It is only three days before Christmas, so perhaps Sonny and Will take baby Arianna to the prison to visit her, or her brother Rafe could pay her a visit.
TPTB at Days of Our Lives have not confirmed or denied Camila’s tweet, so there is a chance that Gabi somehow managed to escape from prison or cut some sort of deal – but the odds of that are pretty slim.
