Dean McDermott probably found himself in hot (rather, boiling) water recently after cheating on his wife Tori Spelling. The couple chose to stay hush hush about Dean’s momentary indiscretion and didn’t reveal any information regarding the state of their personal life, family, or marriage, but it’s safe to assume that the energy in the Spelling/McDermott household has been less than savory. Perhaps Dean has finally decided to own up to his mistakes, as the 47-year-old father announced he’ll be entering rehab. While there he’ll address some “health and personal issues.” His statement wasn’t more specific than that.
In a statement to Us Weekly, Dean says, “I am truly sorry for the mistakes I have made and for the pain I’ve caused my family. I take full responsibility for my actions and have voluntarily checked myself into a treatment center to address some health and personal issues. I am grateful to be getting the help I need so I can become the husband and father my family deserves.”
While he doesn’t come right out with it, everyone knows he’s talking about the recent scandal. If we had to guess, Tori Spelling probably gave him an ultimatum: seek treatment (for something) or get the hell out of dodge (for good). What do you think Dean’s seeking “treatment” for? Drugs? Sex addiction? General douchebagginess?
Ever since his alleged affair with Emily Goodhand, who revealed that Dean and Tori have a “sexless marriage,” Tori has acted like nothing’s happened. Is it time for action to be taken? Is Tori doing what needs to be done to ensure the future of her family? Leave your thoughts regarding the Tori Spelling/Dean McDermott cheating scandal in the comments section below.
