General Hospital spoilers revealed months ago that Jason Morgan was returning to the ABC soap opera, and the role of the iconic character was taken on by CBS soap alum Billy Miller of The Young and the Restless. When GH fans realized that the General Hospital rumors were coming to fruition, and Jason Morgan was returning to Port Charles, they were ecstatic and believed that the soap super couple of Jason and Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) would be reunited. However, due to Jason’s memory loss and new face and Sam’s budding new relationship with Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson), a JaSam reunion is becoming less and less likely.
According to the latest General Hospital news, Jason could still be reuniting with an old lover though. Long before Jason and Sam were an item, Jason was head over heels in love with Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), and the couple even had a child together. However, despite Jason proposing on more than one occasion, the pair never married because Elizabeth didn’t want to put her children in danger by marrying a man in the mob.
So far Liz has been nursing Jason Morgan back to health at General Hospital but has no idea who he really is. Spoilers reveal that on the October 22nd episode of the ABC soap opera, Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) paid Jason and Liz a visit in his hospital room and threatened to kick him out since he had no ID, money, or insurance to pay his hospital bills. Liz reminded Liesl that under law they were required to take care of her patient regardless of what his financial situation was and managed to get Obrecht to back off for the time being.
Although Obrecht didn’t kick Jason Morgan out of the hospital yet, today’s episode of General Hospital definitely foreshadowed upcoming storylines and supported some General Hospital rumors and spoilers that have been floating around. Jason Morgan is rapidly improving, and he can’t live at the hospital forever, but he has no idea who he is and no money, so how will he survive when he is released (which considering Obrecht is on the case will probably be sooner rather than later)? According to General Hospital rumors, Liz invites Jason to move in to her house and stay with her!
I think we all see where the Jason Morgan storyline is going in upcoming episodes of General Hospital. Jason moves in with Liz, they fall in love all over again, then he remembers who he really is and realizes he is married to Sam. And the Sam-Jason-Liz love triangle is reborn.
