Here Comes Honey Boo Boo RECAP 1/23/14: Season 3 Episode 3 “Familymoon”

Tonight on TLC their popular and zany reality show HERE COMES HONEY BOO BOO continues with another new episode called, “Familymoon.”  On tonight’s show the family take an RV journey that includes a tour of an animal safari, a stop at a children’s museum and a visit to a candy shop.  Did you watch last week’s episode?  We did and we recapped it right here for you.

On last week’s episode Anna and Jessica had boyfriends, and June was not ready to be a Grandmother (again). June and Sugar Bear each had painfully awkward sex talks with the older girls and their boyfriends. Meanwhile, Alana was feeling left out and needed a new hobby.  It all started out like this, June told the girls, “A girl meets this boy, they fall in love … and the boys try to get in girls’ fruit loops.”  You can imagine what went on from there.

On tonight’s show June and Sugar Bear never had a honeymoon after their Commitment Ceremony, so they decide to make it a family affair and go on a Familymoon. Their RV journey includes an Animal Safari, encountering the wild animals, a Children’s museum, and a candy shop.

Tonight’s episode looks like it is going to be another crazy Thompson family episode and you won’t want to miss it, so be sure to tune in for our live coverage of TLC’s “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo – Familymoon” at 9:00 PM EST! While you wait for our recap check out a sneak peek of tonight’s episode below!

Tonight on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, the family takes a summer road trip. They decide they want to go to the beach, and Sugar Bear doesn’t care where they go as long as there’s a vibratin’ bed for him and Mama June. They load up the RV, and family friend, Poodle comes along. Honey Boo Boo is excited because the RV is cool with a lot of “frigerators and cabinets,” and because she’s with her family. Chubbs asks Pumpkin what RV stands for. On the RV, Mama June declares it “family communal bathroom time” where everyone takes a turn using the toilet without flushing it until the last person has used the porcelain throne. On the road, the family stops to visit a safari tour. While they are there, a giraffe sticks his tongue through their window, scaring Boo Boo. Then, Jessica and Lauryn decide to make out with the giraffe for money. Lauryn says she wants to make out with the giraffe more, but Boo Boo’s more concerned with the giraffe getting sick from kissing her sisters. After the safari, the kids are napping so Sugar Bear wants to gets some “alone time” in with Mama June, but she says they’ll have to wait.

Day two of the road trip begins with the family eating hot dogs for breakfast. And Powerade. After that nutritious “frat house” style breakfast, the family embarks on a tour through the Edventure Children’s Museum in South Carolina. Mama June hopes that the kids “might actually learn somethin’.” The museum features Ed, who is the biggest kid ever. The cool thing about Ed is you can climb in and see his insides. You can even slide down the “poop shoot,” which was Honey Boo Boo’s favorite thing to do.

Later, the gang gets closer to their RV stop for the night, so they make a quick stop at a candy store along the way. Pumpkin gets embarrassed because Mama June keeps eating the candy before they pay for it. They finally leave with six pounds of candy. The shop owners said they’d never seen “grazing quite like that” before. On the RV, the family inhales the candy, just before bedtime.
