What do you do when your watching your friend burn through men in rapid succession? Well, if you’re Nikki Reed then it seems that you may see her ex long time love as fair game! Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder called it quits over a year ago and while there have been rumors of hook ups and a possible reconciliation, we have also watched her play the field – very publicly. Nina and Nikki have supposedly been good friends since arriving on the Hollywood radar at about the same time. They also double dated a lot before both of their romances came to an end.
After spending all of that time together, Could Nikki Reed an Ian Somerhalder hook-up and actually make a natural couple? Well, the two were spotted out for a very public run in LA on Saturday looking all matchy matchy and a little too pretty. Ian always looks chiseled and buff but Nikki took it up a few notches. She is usually photographed in a big t shirt and sweats to work out. On Saturday she was rocking a bun, streamlined shorts and a halter top that was cut to there. Nikki wasn’t just working on her fitness but she was also looking for a bit of attention- seemingly from that big guy to her left!
The Daily Mail has tip toed around the idea of a romance but let’s be real here- Ian is rarely photographed with other women that the press could speculate about. This was a strategic move by these two. You don’t run the streets of LA unless you want to be seen and that was clearly the plan. A first date isn’t going to go down in front of cameras so these two have had whatever it is going on for long enough to feel comfortable letting us all in on the secret.
