Singer and actor James Maslow danced a Viennese Waltz to “6-2″ by Marie Miller , on tonight’s season 18 episode 8 of Dancing with the Stars with Peta Murgatroyd for their DWTS quarter final performance. Abby Lee Miller of “Dance Moms” joined Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba as a guest judge for the evening. The anticipated quarter finals begin as Pro Mark Ballas makes his solo recording artist debut singing his new single “Get My Name,” along with his band and the house band “Ray Chew Live.”
On last episode James performed a Samba and Ricky loved it saying, ““You guys are taking it to the next level. It was surprise after surprise it was the gift that keeps on giving.” They scored James a perfect score, 35/40.

Judges comments: Len: “James let me say I am a fan of your dancing. Once you get into hold you don’t straighten your legs and your bottom comes out. I hope you are back, I am a fan. It was lovely, well done.” Abby: “Peta you are amazing. James it is the make dancer to make a women look good and you.” Bruno: “Love is in the air and I could feel it. It was like romance blooming under the cherry tree. You have a way to use the music that is absolutely beautiful.” Carrie Ann: “James you are a special soul when you dance. I agree with Len on your posture. On top of that Peta’s foot came off the floor.”
