Very rarely do a person’s exes unite or console each other’s heart . . . but that’s exactly what Jennifer Aniston did when Katy Perry reportedly kicked John Mayer to the curb. Jennifer Aniston, who was also linked to J-May in the past, said that the singer/songwriter should come with a warning label: a “bad for your heart” label. This is like the best thing we’ve ever heard, and we really do hope it’s true.
The report comes from National Enquirer, which claims that Jennifer Aniston — who knows all too well what it’s like to be heartbroken at the hand of John — reached out to Katy Perry after Katy gave him the boot (upon suspecting him of cheating). Remember when John Mayer sent Jennifer a text to announce their breakup? Yeah, that happened.
“Jen says John should come with a ‘bad for your heart’ warning,” a source for the tabloid says. “John ripped her heart out when he dumped her. She really struggled getting over that, and she felt the need to reach out to Katy to give her a pat on the back and offer her a shoulder if she needed.”
But the story doesn’t end there. Jen also supposedly recruited the help of pal Chelsea Handler to send Katy a message. Not sure why this would’ve (or had to) happen, but the magazine claims it did.
“At Jen’s request, Chelsea emailed Katy, telling her that Jen thinks she handled the split with class and that she totally dodged a bullet. It’s not every day you have your ex’s ex taking you under her wing,” the friend added, “but Jen really does think Katy’s carrying herself like a trouper.”
What do you think of these women rallying in support of Katy?
