Isn’t it interesting how we have all watched that now infamous smack down video of Solange attacking Jay-Z as Beyonce seemed to approve multiple times yet most of Hollywood is choosing to duck and run rather than weigh in on the footage? This clear cut act of violence was caught on camera and everyone is afraid to really comment let alone denounce the behavior – well everyone except Jennifer Lopez. She did a radio interview this morning an d had no problem going there.
In fact in between dishing on her kids, career and lessons learned Lopez got serious as a heart attack when saying that she knows one thing for sure, we will never know what that fight was really about unless one of those involved chooses to share the details. In other words folks, everything that we have heard coming from the Knowles/Carter money making machine has just been a series of red herrings fed to us by their management with the hopes that we will believe what they want us to believe.
What they want us to believe is this statement issued today:
“As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it. Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family. The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behavior throughout that evening are simply false. At the end of the day, families have problems and we’re no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We’ve put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same.“
Isn’t that just perfect? I mean, first we saw Bey and Jay at that Brooklyn Nets game and then we saw him shopping with Solange. Now they issue a statement that seems to mirror the visuals that they have provided for us. It’s all a little too perfect don’t you think? Ironically Lopez was laughing when talking about how girls often fight over a cheating man. It’s usually something of that magnitude that makes a woman snap and that’s generally what women think of when they see a man getting walloped. “What did he do? He must have been caught with another chick.”
Lopez is right though, unless someone decides to be honest then the majority of the media is going to opt to believe the flaming pile of crap they are being fed. I also have to circle back to what I said a few days ago. If this was anyone else they would have issued a statement saying that violence is never appropriate, it would have been demanded. Why isn’t the same expected of this trio? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
