Well, looks like many Dis-Beliebers may get their wish! CDL has learned that Justin Bieber has been detained at LAX airport after having arrived back to the United States from a recent trip to Asia. His Singapore airlines flight landed at LAX at 1PM PST where Justin’s bodyguards waited for him.
While he didn’t leave Asia problem-free, he hadn’t gotten into any trouble with the law either. Many bashed the singer for his ignorance after he posted a picture from inside the Yasukuni Shrine, a memorial honoring those who lost their lives in World War II. The problem was that he mistook the Shrine for a place of prayer. After posting the picture, he took it down almost immediately tweeting an apology blaming a driver for misleading him “to think the Shrines were only a place of prayer.” That is truly the least of Bieber’s concerns considering all of his recent legal issues and relationship problems with Selena Gomez.
His return to the U.S. comes on the heels of the White House’s response to the petition to have Bieber deported. Though the petition had the number of signatures necessary to be reviewed by the White House, they pushed the responsibility off to the appropriate government agencies, and wouldn’t comment further.
No further details have been released just yet, but we’ll keep you posted as details emerge.
Update: The authorities decided to let Bieber into the country after all – it seems that his delay was due to his lousy legal record.
