Jon Gosselin just refuses to give up, doesn’t he? If you’re the child of Jon Gosselin and Kate Gosselin, which parent do you prefer have the full custody? The famewhore mother who will constantly use you to further her own needs and put you on national television to make herself look better? Or the famewhore father who will use all your money on alcohol and partying before he goes broke and then leaves? Seriously, it’s a lose-lose situation for those kids.
Jon’s latest attempt to ruin his ex-wife’s public image and gain custody of his kids has come in the form of an interview with E! News. I guess all those exclusives with In Touch Weekly weren’t doing the trick.
He told E! News, “I want temporary primary custody until Kate goes on a psychiatric evaluation.” Sure you do, Jon, sure you do. I’m sure wanting custody of the kids has nothing to do with your desire to land a new reality show, like we’re hearing from sources. I’m sure it has nothing to do with you being broke and desperate, and wanting to try anything possible to get back into the media spotlight. However, you’re going to have to try a lot harder than this if you’re really serious about becoming famous again.
At this point, I think pretty much everyone agrees that Kate’s a better parent than Jon, although that sets a pretty low bar. Famewhore mother > useless asshole father. Still, even if Kate is a famewhore and uses her kids, she at least cares about her kids and she’s not going to let Jon get custody of her kids so easily. Plus, no matter how many interviews he gives, no judge in this country is going to award Jon custody of those kids.
