Every source close to the situation is saying that Kate Middleton is pregnant even though it is less than 3 months after her putative miscarriage. Much of the evidence that the Princess is pregnant with her second child is pointing in the other direction. For one, the palace STILL refuses to say anything, either that Kate Middleton is pregnant or that she suffered a miscarriage and at this point, it’s more frustrating than anything else. It’s almost as if they want to increase the speculation – and in that case, maybe they’re just happy that we’re talking about Kate’s pregnancy instead of her bare bum scandals.
Now, it’s possible that the royals are just hiding the pregnancy, in fear of losing whatever little privacy they have left. After all, they haven’t yet made the move to Anmer Hall, and are still stuck at Kensington while they play cat-and-mouse with the public about Kate’s pregnancy. If they were to announce Kate’s pregnancy, then the world’s paparazzi would descend upon the palace. On the other hand, if they wait for the move to Anmer, then Kate, Prince William, and Prince George will more or less escape the firestorm of media attention that would follow.
Plus, whatever way you slice it, Kate’s appearance has changed over the last few months. Not only does she appear bloated from time to time, but the most recent pictures of her do show her sporting a small baby bump.
Another reason we think that Kate is hiding her pregnancy? She’s thrown herself into party planning for Prince Harry‘s birthday party, not to mention confirmed a solo trip to Malta AND another trip to Italy for a wedding next month. For someone as lazy as Kate Middleton, that’s a lot of work happening over a short span of time. From what we know of the royals’ schedules, they hate doing anything unless they absolutely have to do. I mean, they spend the better part of their year doing nothing, and when they are traveling on ‘tours’, they go on vacations immediately after. Hard work? What hard work? As such, the fact that she’s actually going out of her way to do so many things right now says a lot about what she wants the public to believe – or not to believe.
