Kate Middleton and Prince William are back together after a three-week hiatus that some are calling a trial separation prompted by fighting within the royal couple. The future King and Queen are spending a Halloween babymoon at Queen Elizabeth’s Balmoral Castle in Scotland trying to work out their fighting, marriage problems, end their trial separation and reconcile. Queen Elizabeth ordered her grandson and his pregnant wife to spend a few days away from London, Bucklebury and the meddlesome Carole Middleton to get their priorities straight and stop embarrassing the royal family by living apart. In fact the monarch insisted Kate and Will take along Prince George to remind them of their responsibilities to their child and their marriage. The Queen insists that Princess Kate and Prince William move back in together at Kensington Palace after their babymoon in Scotland is over.
People and the media were starting to ask uncomfortable questions after Kate returned to Bucklebury after her successful public engagements last week proved that she was no longer sick while William remained in London. The use of the excuse of morning sickness to explain Kate Middleton and Prince William’s de facto separation fell flat. A source close to the palace explained to CDL that ever since Prince Charles’s disastrous divorce from Princess Diana following years of cheating and affairs Queen Elizabeth has been staunchly against any public rifts within marriages of those closest to her. Prince William will be King one day and Queen Elizabeth insists that he avoid the taint that covers his cheating father and Camilla Parker-Bowles.
Kate Middleton and Prince William had now been spent several weeks apart, up until their Halloween getaway, and what began for a purely health purpose seems to have evolved into something more. Initially, everyone assumed that Kate Middleton moved back to her Bucklebury childhood home with her parents because she was sick and wanted to recuperate in comfort. However, after almost a week of back-to-back public engagements and appearances, and Kate herself had gone on the record and admitted that she feels loads better. Except, she was still at Bucklebury, where I guarantee that she’s could never get the same quality of care that she would get at Kensington.
Not only that, but Kate would also be given the utmost privacy at Kensington, more so than at Bucklebury. So if it’s not privacy concerns or recuperating from her illness, then the only logical explanation is that Kate and Will were staying separate on purpose. From what we’re hearing, none of the royals – but particularly Queen Elizabeth – were happy about Kate’s extended stay away from Kensington [and by extension, Prince William]. After all, the royals have a history of divorce in their blood, and the monarchy was almost single-handedly brought down when Prince Charles divorced Princess Diana. Well, maybe not ‘brought down’, but it certainly detracted from the royal image for over a decade. It was only when Prince William married the lovely Kate Middleton that people began to warm up to British Monarchy again. As such, there is no way the Queen wants a repeat of that same scandal, especially with the media obsession centering around Kate Middleton and Prince William’s marriage.
There was no word on how long Kate Middleton was planning to stay at Bucklebury, during this trial separation, but there was a royal protection security squad stationed there – ostensibly to protect Kate from reporters and press, but also to stop random stalkers and crazies. Random citizens were being stopped if they ventured too close to Bucklebury, and royals are on excessive security watch after a man was found impaled on railings just a few feet away from Kate’s and Will’s Kensington Palace 20-room apartment. But the big question still remains – why were Prince William and Kate Middleton not living together, it wasn’t health issues. Hopefully the royal couple can work out their marriage issues and stop fighting up in Scotland during their Queen Elizabeth imposed, forced Halloween getaway.
