Kate Middleton has a lot on her plate these days, when she isn’t on bed-rest coping with extreme morning sickness and planning for baby number three, she’s working with Queen Elizabeth to banish Camilla Parker-Bowles from the Royal family. And, on top of all of that, now Kate and Prince William are dealing with a dangerous stalker who has taken a liking to Baby George. According to a new report, Prince William and Kate Middleton were so concerned for their son, that they actually took legal action against said stalker. Never mind Queen Elizabeth! Our sources report that the Queen is livid and shocked that any of her loyal subjects would harass Prince George, who in fact is now third in line to the throne after bumbling Prince Charles and Prince William. If Queen Elizabeth had her way it would be off with the stalker’s head and ask questions later.
There are tons of fans of the Royal family, and their celebrity status is felt around the globe. But, apparently one “fan” has taken their love for the little Royal heir a bit too far. Buckingham Palace has released an official statement on the matter and it reveals that Prince George and his nanny have been followed to the park on numerous occasions by one person and they have reason to believe that person has memorized the young Prince’s daily routine. Will and Kate apparently asked the stalker to stay away from George on more than one occasion, and their requests have been completely ignored.
The statement from Buckingham Palace goes on to say, “The individual was spotted at a central London Park in the vicinity of Prince George, who was removed from the Park immediately. There is reason to suspect that the individual may have been placing Prince George under surveillance and monitoring his daily routines for a period of time. Just like any parent, The Duke and Duchess want Prince George to have the freedom to safely experience normal childhood activities, like going to the park and playing with other children, without the threat of harassment or being placed under surveillance.” Although the statement doesn’t reveal the identity of Prince George’s stalker, the Palace does reveal that, “He has already been spoken to by protection officers about his behaviour in respect of Members of the Royal Family on previous occasions over a number of years.“
On one hand, stalkers are super scary, especially when they are stalking a 13 month old baby and we totally get why Will and Kate are so worked up over the incident. But, you also have to take in to consideration that they aren’t just celebrities, but the Royal family, and it is a little unreasonable for them to think they can send their son, the future King of England to a park like a normal child. Do you think that William and Kate are being unreasonable thinking their son could live a normal life? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
