Even if Robert Pattinson seemingly has zero feelings left for Kristen Stewart, there’s no denying that he’s letting himself be used by FKA Twigs as though he was a boy toy for sale. Granted, Rob isn’t stupid and he totally knows that he’s being used to boost FKA’s career. While he’s getting a reputation as being somewhat pussy whipped by FKA Twigs, sources tell us that he’s also desperate to split the connection between him and Twilight/Kristen Stewart/that whole era. He reportedly hates the fact that people still associate him mainly with the sparkly vampire franchise, and he’s sick and tired of it. Thus, he believes that dating FKA Twigs will give him a new, hardcore image and that might help expand his fan base, especially since FKA Twigs’ music does attract a very different clientele to Twilight’s main fan base.
In the end, Kristen will just have to hope that any dwindling feelings that Rob has left for her might be enough. But even if that doesn’t happen, she should just hope that Rob comes to his senses and dumps FKA Twigs before he gets finagled into being her unofficial PR boyfriend forever.
