Lamar Odom recently got denied from the Penthouse club in West Hollywood, the same club that was conveniently playing host to Khloe Kardashian and French Montana‘s partying at the same time. Because there was an E! camera crew outside the venue that just happened to capture Lamar’s rejection, many people started speculating that the whole thing was staged for reality TV.
However, a rep for the club is now telling TMZ that Lamar’s rejection was not pre-planned for Keeping Up With the Kardashians, but was rather a precautionary attempt to prevent any fights. Pictures from Lamar outside the club show him looking pretty stoned and/or drunk, and we know that a stoned Lamar Odom is a pretty deadly weapon. We saw what happened with him during his drug binges last year when he was on his downward spiral and Khloe was leaving him.
The Penthouse managers were reportedly so worried about what Lamar would do once he saw French and Khloe together that they ended up turning him away at the door. Apparently, they thought that he might start a brawl or get into an unnecessary fight with French and Khloe, and what club wants that kind of scene? Sure, it might bring some publicity, but the damage to their reputation wouldn’t be worth it.
Honestly, the club and the bouncers were pretty smart not to let Lamar in. In his state, he definitely would have started a fight with French, and he probably would have beat the guy to a pulp before anyone stepped in. Lamar’s never accepted the fact that his relationship with Khloe has ended, and he was trying to win her back up until she got together with French. I guarantee that the guy’s carrying a ton of resentment towards French, and Khloe for that matter, and it would have exploded in an ugly confrontation if all three of them were in the same place at the same time.
Lamar Odom has a disappointing night out in West Hollywood, California on May 13, 2014. Odom was turned away from Penthouse nightclub while his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian and her rumored new boyfriend French Montana were inside.
