New York Fashion Week is in full swing but nobody’s talking about the runway fashions. Lil’ Kim shocked fans when she arrived to the Blonds show debuting a big baby bump. The 39-year-old rapper is expecting her first child.
She later headed to an after party where she was set to perform. “I’m a mom, but I can turn it up a little!” she said while rubbing her belly before performing “Lighters Up.” And don’t expect a new baby to tame Lil’ Kim’s over-the-top personality or outrageous outfits.
“I’m still going to work. I’m still going to be hardcore. The baby has made me even more of a beast!” she told Us magazine.
Once you’ve had your left breast hanging out covered only by a sparkly pasty on live television, there’s no going back. It doesn’t matter how many children you have.
Lil’ Kim did not reveal who the father is, but she was previously pregnant with the Notorious B.IG.’s child. Sadly, she miscarried. However, she still shows her love for the late rap legend. “It’s also going to be Biggie’s birthday and the anniversary of his death soon so we [as she points to her belly] love you,” she told the crowd last night before performing.
Twitter went crazy when the news broke. Several celebrities, including singers Monica and Tamar Braxton, tweeted out their excitement and congratulations.
