Ray J sat Princess down because he didn’t like all the gossip there was about their relationship. But in retrospect he realizes that maybe he shouldn’t have brought up Teairra. His ex’s name acted as a trigger and if he hadn’t walked away – he could have ended up in an altercation with Princess.
Luckily Ray J knew how to reign in his temper. And that saved him from getting into trouble. Then. Yet he and Teairra have always been a different story.
Teairra is about to do another performance. And she’s nervous enough about that. Her last performance was a dud and even Teairra admits that. So naturally there’s a lot riding on the line with her upcoming showcase.
Not only does she have to prove that she can sing under pressure but she also has to work at maintaining her business relationship with Yung Berg. Berg has put his own name out there for Teairra. So if she falls flat again – it’s not just her that’s going to be left humiliated at the end of the day.
Although Berg apparently wants to invite Ray J to Teairra’s showcase. He thinks that would add to her performance. Or so he says. But the only thing that can come from those two meeting up is drama. And Berg most know how much that kind of drama will sell.
They say any kind of publicity is good publicity. Yet, note how Berg makes no mention of inviting his ex Hazel to the showcase. It seems he’s gotten serious about Masika and the two of them have gotten so close – he doesn’t want to jeopardize it.
If only Berg could have been that considerate back when Hazel and Masika used to be good friends. And more than just. Some would say they were even best friends. Masika used to be the person Hazel would turn to whenever she had a problem with Berg. Then Berg got with Masika. And suddenly Masika is reiterating Berg’s story that he never really dated Hazel. She was merely chick on the side to him.
And Hazel was bound to be hurt by whoever he dated after her but the fact he chose a close friend that happens to have reputation on encroaching on other women’s territories means there’s going to be a part of her that wonders if Masika used her to climb the social ladder.
What Masika did to Hazel, she did to Nikki. So Hazel and Nikki met up to talk about their common interests. That being “hating on Masika”.
Hazel wanted to know if Masika used her to move on to bigger and better. And Nikki confirmed her worst fears. After her own run in with Masika – Nikki did some digging into the other woman and she find out several things. For instance, Masika loves to attach herself to wealthy and/or talented men. These men tend to help her in whatever career she had chosen to pursue at that time.
And it seems that Masika isn’t a friend to anyone. Women don’t generally want to hang out with her. And there has to be a reason for that. So after Hazel was done talking to Nikki she tried to reach out to Masika. She wanted the other woman to at least acknowledge that she wasn’t crazy. Because when back when she brought up a possible relationship between Masika and Berg. And at the time Masika tried to write it off as Hazel being paranoid.
But the proof was everywhere. The newest couple were seen out and about. Hence Hazel confronted Masika. And while the two women managed to not come to blows – what little respect or friendship they had for each other is definitely over.
Nikki was able to move past what Masika had done to her. And she might be starting something new with Fizz. Fizz still has some issues to work out with his son’s mother but for the most part he seems excited about Nikki.
Though he’s promised Omarion that there’s nothing that’s going to get in the way of them making music. Their families are important but it was time for them to get back to business.
And as for Teairra’s performance, Ray J did show up. But surprisingly it wasn’t to throw anything at her or on the floor. As the story goes, Ray J looked back at his time with Teairra and he realized how good he had it with her when what he had with Princess turned out to be sham.
Princess betrayed his trust by talking about intimate details. Yet Teairra never did that to him and so he missed Teairra. Ray J didn’t know how much loyalty mattered until it was too late.
So he showed up at the showcase and his presence inspired Teairra into pulling out a brilliant performance. And when everything was done – Ray apologized to her for dropping all of her stuff on the floor that time. He said he was sorry and even offered her a new bag. Louis Vuitton by the way.
And he probably would have said more if Teairra hadn’t stopped him to kiss him. It looks like she never stopped loving him and so she had no problem taking him back after a very ugly breakup. And the same goes for Nia.
Nia got into a bad car accident and that’s what brought her and Soulja Boy back together. He didn’t know how much he needed her until he almost lost her for good.
THE END!
