Video: Meryl Davis Dancing With the Stars Rumba 5/5/14 #DWTS

Meryl Davis danced a Rumba to “Read All About It, Part III” by Emeli Sandé, on tonight’s season 18 episode 8 of Dancing with the Stars with Maks Chmerkovskiy for their DWTS quarter final performance.   We posted a nifty bio of Meryl Davis so you can get more familiar with her.  Abby Lee Miller of “Dance Moms” joined Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba as a guest judge for the evening.  If you missed tonight’s show you can read a full and detailed recap, right here.

The anticipated quarter finals begin as Pro Mark Ballas makes his solo recording artist debut singing his new single “Get My Name,” along with his band and the house band “Ray Chew Live.”

On last episode Meryl performed a Salsa and judge Bruno loved it saying, “Meryl the leader of the gang with plenty of bang.  You can go down and dirty, but Maks who would not.  You were dancing in front of 6 of the best professionals in the country and you held your own.  I salute you!”  They scored Meryl 39/40.

Meryl Davis and professional dancer Maks Chmerkovskiy: dancing a Salsa.  Meryl has been getting ready for her dance tonight but has been super busy and has not said much.

Judges comments: Bruno: “Tempestuous melodrama. It was like watching a play without words.  It was different and I loved it.”  Carrie Ann: “Meryl you and Maks have this incredible chemistry.  Rumba is about continuous movement and it did not stop.  It was perfection, but there was not enough Rumba content.”  Len: “I don’t usually go for so much drama but I loved it and could watch it again.”  Abby: “Maks I would never hit you and I am sure when a girl on the floor and they would not think of their feet.  I loved it, you could win this.”

SCORES: Carrie Ann: 9  Len: 9 Abby: 8  Bruno: 10 TOTAL: 36 – Vote for Meryl Davis and professional dancer Maks Chmerkovskiy at Voting #: 1*800*868*3406
