Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are not getting any younger, which is worrisome for fans of the couple. Both of them have been dealing with several health problems over the last few years, what with Catherine and her bipolar and Michael and his host of issues. And now, a new report from the National Enquirer suggests that as soon as Michael and Catherine got back together, Michael’s been extremely concerned about Catherine’s bad smoking habit.
Even though the two separated for a short period of time, it looks like they’re returning right back to where we left them – fighting. A source tells the Enquirer, “Catherine’s smoking is looking heavier than ever. I think she easily smokes up to two packs a day, and with all the problems Michael has had with cancer, he just can’t bring himself to turn a blind eye.”
The poor guy just dealt with so many health problems, and Catherine won’t even listen to him? I think that about sums up their relationship in a nutshell: Michael begging Catherine to listen to him, and Catherine doing whatever the heck she wants to do. Why do you think they broke up in the first place? I’m sure Catherine’s bipolar and Michael’s deteriorating health didn’t make things any better, especially after they both decided to take a ‘break’ from each other. But how long will their current reunion last if they don’t stop fighting?
For what it’s worth, I think Michael is absolutely right in this situation. After seeing what Michael went through, Catherine really should be more respectful and understanding, and think about her own health as well as her husband’s.
