On the heels of the release of his first posthumous single and album, more child molestation charges have been filed against Michael Jackson, The King of Pop. James Safechuck, 36, added his name to the suit choreographer, Wade Robson, filed last year. James first met Michael while shooting a 1987 Pepsi commercial and now alleges he was groomed and sexually molested by him between the ages of 10 and 15.
Safechuck’s abuse is “the same type of sex abuse claim as Wade’s, only with a different set of facts … and dates,” a source told The Daily Beast.
Claims that James was molested by Michael were first mentioned during the 2005 child molestation case. One of the managers of the Neverland Ranch testified that he saw Michael and James in Jacuzzi together and Michael had his hands “down the front of Jimmy’s underpants and was manipulating the boy’s genitalia.” A maid also claimed that she saw the two in bed together shirtless.
Despite these testimonies, James denied he was touched by the King of Pop in a sexual manner. Michael was also found not guilty of all molestation charges in 2005.
However, now a father of two, James is now claiming he was, in fact, molested by Michael Jackson for five years. The insider revealed that Wade’s suit and adult therapy helped James realize Michael was a “child molester and pedophile.“
“Once you start having children and you see what it’s all about. Your perspective on life changes,” the source added.
Ron Zonen was the prosecutor in the 2005 case and says that the few people accusing the singer posthumously is probably just the beginning.
“I don’t think we’re done yet. All these people, these suspected victims, are now in their early 30s, all young adults and they are coming to grips with what happened to them.”
