Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev won a People’s Choice Award last night for their on-screen chemistry and how did they choose to celebrate it? They showed the world that particular brand of chemistry doesn’t necessarily go away after a break up. And just looking at the way Ian kissed Nina onstage – it wouldn’t surprise no one if these were able to get back together. After all he didn’t exactly give her a quick peck now did he?
Ian and Nina used to work great as a couple. So might say too great by the way the creator of the Vampire Diaries had to go and ruin the Stefan and Elena ship. Thanks by the way for that, Julie. Luckily, I’m going to let that go and go back to the actual couple for now. Even when they played adversaries these two showed a natural pull to each other. That’s why their eventually split was a bit tough to handle for both us and them. They had to continue to play love interests while Nina attempted to date Derek Hough. Was it awkward? Possibly! Not that anyone could tell seeing as both Nina and Ian remained cordial towards each other.
However the awards show last night was different than their usual distance. When they heard their name get called, Ian helped her from her chair, he then kept his arm around her, he kissed her up onstage, and to end it they were seen still in each others laughing backstage. That doesn’t anything like exes! Today, Nina celebrated her 25th birthday and how much do you want to bet a certain someone called to remind her he didn’t forget the date.
