Nina Dobrev has been dating boyfriend Mark Foster for a few months, which in Hollywood means they’ve been dating for an eternity. That obviously means that they’re ready for the next step, the dreaded meeting the parents scenario. To be honest, I’m not sure how Nina Dobrev’s parents would feel about her dating half of Hollywood’s eligible bachelors, since they had to have read it in the tabloids. But since Nina did date Ian Somerhalder for a couple of years and there was even talk of an engagement, I imagine they’re probably not the happiest when she gets featured in any magazines for her love life.
Of course, Nina’s finally gotten herself into a steady relationship post-Ian Somerhalder and post-rebound Derek Hough, and she’s now dating Mark Foster of Foster the People. Not bad, Nina, not bad. She’s slowly upgraded her way into a rock star, which makes perfect sense for where she is in her life right now. However, there is the question of whether Nina is planning to spend Christmas in Canada with her family, introducing them to Mark Foster – or whether she’s planning to go to Mark’s home and meet his family.
Nina Dobrev certainly seems the type to introduce her boyfriends to her parents, doesn’t she? And like I said, Nina and Mark have been dating an eternity in Hollywood years, and at this point, some couples are engaged and married already. Now, Nina’s only 25 years old so she’s not going to be getting married [we think…], but we’ll be able to gauge the seriousness of the relationship by whether she takes him home or not. Meeting parents is a big step in any scenario – in Hollyweird or in real life – and if Nina takes Mark home for Christmas, then we’ll know that things are moving quickly. If she doesn’t?
