Kate Middleton, Prince William, and Prince George said goodbye to New Zealand and ventured on towards Australia, where they’ll be spending the upcoming days touring around the Land Down Under. And if you think the Kardashian sisters garner screams and fangirl/fanboy cheers, then you obviously haven’t seen a crowd of faithful Royalists (i.e. those in mad-love with all things pertaining to The Crown).
Prince William said that they’ve been “looking forward to coming to Australia for a long time” and continued with . . . . “There cannot be a more impressive place than the iconic Sydney Opera House to begin our first visit together to Australia. Australia and Australians have always been for us a beacon of confidence, creativity in the arts and sporting ability. I know that a truly unforgettable few days lie ahead. My mother’s deep affection for Australia – which you were so kind to reciprocate – needs no reminder.”
There were about 400 people at the welcome reception and, while many were eager to meet Prince George, he was taken ahead to Admirality House with his superstar nanny, Maria Borello. What do you think about Prince William and Kate preparing to embark upon their epic Australian adventure? We’ll keep you updated as their travels proceed.
