Real Housewives of New York spoilers recently revealed that RHONY alum Bethenny Frankel was headed back to the Bravo reality TV series for Season 7 after a four year hiatus. Although Bethenny insists that she is not having money problems, word on the streets is that she accepted the invitation to return because of her cancelled talk show and sinking business ventures. Rumor has it that Frankel will not be the only new face appearing in Season 7 of Real Housewives of New York though – and the Bravo producers have nabbed another housewife, Dorinda Medley.
Page Six reports that Dorinda Medley was spotted at an event chatting with Real Housewives of New York star (and recently demoted) Ramona Singer, and she was overheard by multiple witnesses claiming that she has been added to the real Housewives of New York cast. So, who is Dorinda Medley? The newest RHONY addition is a well known socialite in New York, and the widow of high-profile economist Richard Medley, a chief at the US House Banking Committee.
Multiple sites are reporting that after Bethenny Frankel signed on the dotted line and filming began, Bravo execs were underwhelmed by the amount of positive feedback they received, or didn’t receive. They thought bringing Bethenny back would be a major boost for the show, and the news seemed to fall flat among RHONY fans – so at the last minute they decided to bring in Dorinda Medley as well.
