Last week, Pastor Tom got some much needed advice from his wife. She told him that if he couldn’t find his place within the old church then he should start his own. And he did. However, during his first baptism, his followers accidentally found a slew of human remains in the river.

Reports are saying nearly a dozen people’s remains were found and to double check the coroner’s report as well lend a hand – the Sheriff’s office has asked Maggie to step in. Although the request didn’t exactly come from her father, the Sheriff. Luckily, he knew better than to call her himself. So he made sure to have one of his underlings do it in case his daughter decided to refuse him personally.

Maggie and Fred’s relationship is still strained. And funnily enough their relationship isn’t the only thing that has unraveled in the Langston household. Since Margaret Langston’s return she has been doing nothing but add stress to Henry and her daughter-in-law’s already fraught lives. Her latest “suggestion” involved Jacob going back to school.

Margaret thinks he should be around kids his own age and she wants him to go to college one day. His parents on the other hand aren’t so quick in dismissing Jacob’s unique condition. It’s not going to be safe for him and people might not like it if their son suddenly started to pretend to be “normal” again.

Though don’t tell Margaret that. She’s been interfering left, right, and center. She even tried to mend fences between her son and granddaughter. She told Maggie to let Fred back into her life. That while he can sometimes come off too strongly – it’s really because he cares so much. So Maggie trusted Fred enough to let him in on the mystery of the bodies.

But, earlier, her namesake left out her role in the newly emerged bodies by the lake.

Maggie told Bellamy that bodies showed signs of having been moved. And just last week her grandmother broke into the old Langston factory and dug up a few remains. Coincidence? Highly unlikely! Hence the mystery surrounding the bodies is probably well known to Margaret.

Maggie said some of bodies appeared to be identical to each other. As if they were returnees and she had in her custody some of their original bodies of when they came back – possibly more than once. And on top of that, the bodies are old. Like 1930s old!

Meaning Jacob wasn’t the first returnee and for some reason Margaret is sitting on that information. So what else is she hiding?

Well, Fred will soon be asking her that very same question. He found evidence on the bridge linking back to his family’s old factory. So he visited the run down place and what he found out was that someone had ripped up the floor boards. And because this person didn’t try to hide evidence of what they did – he saw a bone fragment still inside of the whole.

Now that he knows where the bodies came from – it really won’t take him that long to start questioning his own mother. After all she is newly returned and he must be aware that she knows the factory like the back of her hand.

Yet, instead of going straight to her to demand answers, the first thing he did upon finding the original burial site was to start covering it up. He lied to Maggie. Told her he hadn’t found any new evidence. And then they later had to face Bellamy’s betrayal together.

Bellamy wanted his body back from the government so he made a deal with them. He gave them information about the returned including Maggie’s recent find and they in turn delivered his corpse.

And in the meantime, some of the other returned have worn out their welcome. One of them tormented his brother so much – the brother killed him. But no matter what he did – the brother kept on coming back. So in the end he was never free!

THE END!
