Paula Patton and Robin Thicke have thrown in the towel and separated after 9 years of marriage. To say Paula had put up with a lot if an understatement. In a statement to People Magazine, the couple confirms they are ending their marriage, “We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time.”
This could explain the recent concert cancellations from Thicke, 36, and why he was alone with son Julian at Disneyland instead. Thicke began to make a name for himself after the popularity of his hit song Blurred Lines reached an all-time level. And while he may have been a flirt with women in the past, he stepped it up and became far more flagrant about his new-found popularity with women.
Thicke, the notorious partner in Miley Cyrus’ VMA performance last year was caught with his hand basically up a socialite Lana Scolaro’s skirt at a VMA after-party. People have been telling Paula, 38, for quite a while that she needs to dump him, but as the couple has been on and off since their early teens, and the fact they have a young child together, has influenced her decision to stay. Apparently, she has now had enough.
