Roman stares at a star when Teri comes and climbs in bed with him. She touches his tattoos on his body and they light up. He kisses her and they get busy. He wakes. It was just a dream and he hears sirens outside. He finds a leaf under his pillow and stares at it. It’s glittery and otherworldly. He catches up with Teri and hands it to her – he tells her to stay out of his head and says they are done and over and she needs to stay out of his head. He walks away and she stares sadly at the leaf.

Julia is thrilled at her first day back at school. The Atrians come in and Roman catches her eye then looks down. Julia asks why Roman is upset at her. Emery says she doesn’t know. Gloria talks to the students about the 10th anniversary of Arrival Day and says they will gather at the ship. Lukas is curious but Sophia says it’s no big deal.

Gloria tells them that the human students in the room have been selected to go into the Sector and that they are making history for integrating in the other direction. Emery asks Gloria if they can hear Arrival Day stories from the Atrians because they’ve never heard them. Roman hangs back and tells Gloria that Emery shouldn’t be allowed to go because many Atrians are angry that her father shot Nox. Gloria says if he has no specific information, it’s not enough to hold her back.

Grayson and Taylor are tying on remembrance ribbons to recall the fallen humans. Drake tells them it’s insensitive because they lost many more than the humans did. Taylor calls him a roided up freak.

Emery shows Julia a camera she’s taking to the Sector to shoot interviews. Julia’s worried that it won’t be safe for Emery in the Sector and she says it’s Roman’s Dad pet project and Julia tells her that’s not the way to win him. She goes to the counselor. Grayson comes up and tells Emery that he knows a camera guy to help her and volunteers himself. She agrees.

Julia finds Roman and says they have to talk. He gives her attitude and she reminds he lied to her about Cyper. He tells her that her recovery has nothing to do with him. He tells her she’s crazy. She says she will just go and share her suspicions with her doctors and he drags her into a room to talk in private. He tells her to keep it to herself. He’s not interested in curing human cancer.

He tells her that he saved her but it took his blood infused with hers and that the Sector would be overrun with people looking to take the Cyper and drain their blood. He asks her to keep it secret and she tells him it’s a problem. She unbuttons her shirt and shows him all the glowing blue veins all over her body. She says it started when she touched him at the carnival. She says it’s spreading and if he wants to keep it a secret, he needs to help her fix it. He’s in shock.

In the Sector, Roman talks to Castor and tells him his father would have been thrilled to see the humans come in. Roman reminds him he promised to keep Emery safe and Castor says he hopes it will be fine. Roman casually brings up Cyper and Castor tells him the side effects are fatigue and euphoria but sometimes blue veins crop up. He tells him that Vire can cure it but it has to be given soon.

Sophia comes to stand with Roman as the bus pulls up with the humans. Other humans are protesting at the gate. The Atrians are all on edge as Gloria unloads the high schoolers. Emery stares at Roman as she comes in. Gloria tells them they have to stick in groups of two and their guard. They begin exploring. They check out the strange foods and living conditions. Grayson is using the opportunity to film the Sector but I think he’s doing it for the Red Hawks.

Julia tries on a scarf when Roman comes up and she tells him the veins are spreading. He says he has a cure but if he doesn’t give it to her before it reaches her face, it will be permanent. Emery asks Roman to interview him and Sophia in his pod and he refuses. He stalks away but then Sophia invites her to come over later when her mom is gone.

Some of the kids look at a display of Vore – a drug – and the guards say they can’t sell it to humans. Roman finds Teri and tells him he needs Vire. She’s horrified he used Cyper on a human and refuses to help him. The Trags bring Drake to them and he pledges to join them. The leader tells him he has to prove himself by breaking into the ship on the Arrival Day commemoration and lay waste to the humans.

Emery interviews Sophia. She tells them she wanted to meet the humans and watched their lights from the Sector since arrival. Grayson asks to look around and videos their pod. Emery sees the star hanging by Roman’s bed. It’s the yarn they played with as children. Grayson films her and asks Sophia what it is. She says Roman has never said what it is. He shows up then and gets angry that she’s there and not with his guard. Grayson tells him to relax and Roman gets angry. They leave. Sophis is upset with her brother.

Drake and Beaumont fight. Beaumont stabs him with a weapon he says can turn any pressure point into a death sentence. He tells him he needs to step up and show him he can fight. Drake asks how he got rid of his marks so he could live with the humans. He won’t answer Drake yet. He tells him he needs to ask himself if he’s willing to cure ofr the cause. Drake rushes him and beats him down.

Julia and Roman meet up and he says he doesn’t have the cure but knows how to get it. She ditched her guard. She tells him they should tell Emery what’s going on and he refuses. She tells him he’s being a jerk and she knows he cares about Emery. He says the Atrians would like to see Emery dead because her Dad kills his and her being close to him puts him in danger. He says he’s protecting her, but being a jerk is part of the plan.

Beaumont reports to Castor on the Trag plan to use Drake to get to the mother ship. Castor tells him to keep him informed but doesn’t seem upset by a Trag versus human massacre. He tells Beaumont to keep an eye on Roman because he isn’t buying his standoffish attitude towards Emery. Castor says they just need to come out on the winning side and tells Beaumont to leave Emery to him.

Grayson tells Emery that they got some good footage and asks where Julia is. Lukas is paying a game when Emery sees the same little Atrian girl peeking at her. She grabs the camera and heads after her. She shows her drawings on the wall of all the dead Atrians. She asks Emery to tape her and she talks to her Mom in their language. She twirls prettily.

Others begin to show up and surround Emery. Castor shows up and chases them off. He tells her it’s not safe for her because it’s sacred. He says it’s the wall of the missing that haven’t been seen since Arrival Day. He introduces himself as Roman’s uncle and says it’s odd they are friends since her Dad shot his. She says Roman doesn’t consider them friends. She excuses herself.

Roman takes Julia to a grow house of the mystic tribe and describes the flower they’re looking for. She startled by a moving plant and gasps. He hides her just before Vega – one of the Trag leaders enters.
He tries to cover when Vega comes in and tells her he’s fascinated by their plants. She plucks off a fruit nad tells him those one makes you feel like you’re being burned alive. Her companion grabs Roman and she holds it toward him. Roman struggles and demands to know why he’s really there.

Roman tells her he’s telling her the truth when Teri (Vega’s daughter) shows up and he tells Vega he was there meeting Teri for a date. Teri covers for him and Vega asks why he lied. He says he was scared she would hurt him for dating Teri. He walks out and grabs Julia secretly to sneak her out. Vega tells Teri she needs to stay away from Roman because he’s holding her back from her destiny as a Trag and that she must choose soon.

Grayson flips through footage and tells Emery she’s got some good footage in addition to many where she’s being yelled at by Atrians. They discuss the commemoration and he says a lot of people won’t like it. She asks why he’s helping and he says he likes her. At the Arrival Day commemoration, Grayson leaves his parents onstage and comes to see Emery. She says they need to upload the video and he says he’s on it.

A bus pulls up with the Atrians. Gloria watches with interest. Teri catches up with Roman and hands him some Vire and tells him to be careful because no one knows what it will do to humans besides curing the side effects. They pile into the bleachers. Castor greets the humans and sits with the humans on the stage. Roman finds Julia and tells her he has the Vire but is worried about the risk to her. He tells her she has to eat it. She tells him if anyone finds out about the cure, they’ll want to experiment on her too and she can’t deal with that.

Drake is pulled off the bleachers by Beaumont and Roman watches with interest but then takes his seat. Gloria greets the crowd in Atrian and English. Beaumont tells Roman he’s disabled the gate near the ship and gives him the toxic weapon to protect himself. Gloria introduces video footage Emery took. Sophia speaks but then it’s interrupted with footage from the Red Hawks. It’s stuff Grayson shot with her camera. Emery looks around for him, but he’s taken off. The Red Hawk video says they will send all the Atrians back to hell.

Drake climbs through the security fence and heads for the ship. Emery looks round at the crowd that’s growing more and more upset. Roman heads to the stage and takes the podium. He introduces himself as Nox’s son, the late leader of the Atrians. He tells the crowd there is some truth to what the Red Hawks said. Drake finds a hatch that will let him into the ship. He jumps up into it. There’s some sort of weid gravity thing going on and he flips himself upside down and then walks up the ship. He touches the walls and they begin to light up. He opens a glass door and pulls out a silver cue. A guard comes through but just misses seeing him. Roman tells the crowd they need to learn from each other. Julia sits in her car and eats the plant. The veins disappear but the car is engulfed in blue light.

Roman tells them that the video was supposed to be Arrival Day stories. He says he’d like to share his. He says the Red Hawks say the humans don’t want them but on Arrival Day, a young girl saved him or he wouldn’t be here today. He says there are more humans that welcome them than hate them and that gives him hope that one day they can all live together. The crowd applauds.

Drake slams the guard down and he begs Drake not to kill him. He tells him he has a family. Drake stabs the guy. Teri is there and she pops a plant in her mouth and then breathes into his mouth. She says he won’t remember anything when he wakes. Drake asks why she’s there and she says her mom is the leader of the Trags and she’s finally embracing her destiny.

Gloria tells Roman that it was nicely done and says he saved the day. She tells him he saved the program. The media want to interview Roman and Gloria says he’s a shining example of how integration can work across the world.

Emery overhears Grayson’s parents talking about how they showed the video. His Mom asks if anyone can trace it back to them and his Dad says no. Grayson sees her there and she rushes away. She’s furious and says he’s not a Red Hawk and that they must have stolen the footage from him. She tells him she can’t be around him and storms off.

Drake finds Roman and Roman asks why he was with the Trag Beaumont. Teri is there and tells Roman they don’t have to explain themselves to him. They walk off and Julia walks up. She shows him her veins and hugs him. She leaves and he sees Emery there.

Teri and Drake meet Vega and Vega tells him he’s completed the mission and brought her daughter back to her. She says he’s a full member and can see the future. She takes the cube and drops some Cyper in it. A black cloud forms and she blows it into Beaumont’s face. It turns his maw black and kills him instantly. She tells them that Beaumont was a traitor and was giving info to Castor. She says they will unleash the black Cyper on the humans.

Gloria enters a secure building that requires a retinal scan to get into. A small Atrian child runs at her yelling “Mommy” and she scoops him up and hugs him.

THE END!!
