Summer is rapidly winding down, and that means it is almost time for an all new season of the popular CBS reality TV show Survivor. Survivor spoilers reveal that Season 29 of the series, Survivor: San Juan Del Sur is set to premiere on Wednesday September 24th. The all new location, San Juan Del Sur, is located on the southern coast of Nicaragua. And, spoilers reveal that for Season 29 the producers have opted to return to the popular Blood Vs. Water theme that was introduced in 2013. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Blood Vs. Water, the castaways are divided into teams, pitting them against their own family members and loved ones.
CBS has released the names of the Survivor: San Juan Del Sur cast, and there are a few familiar faces. Amazing Race and Amazing Race: All Stars alums Nadiya and Natalie Anderson. The 28 year old twins are mostly remembered for yelling and arguing across the globe, they may be twins but they can’t seem to agree on anything.
Survivor spoilers also tease that 39 year old retired Atlanta Braves pitcher John Rocker will also be joining the cast, along with his model girlfriend Julie McGee. Rocker is well known for his baseball stats, but infamous for his racist and controversial comments in a Sports Illustrated interview in 1999.
The Survivor: San Juan Del Sur cast will feature three parents/children teams, three couples, and a team of brothers. The Season 29 cast appears to be one of the youngest yet, with only players over the age of 40, and the majority of the new cast members in their 20’s.
