The Real Housewives of Orange County is not in the tabloids or news half as often as its counterparts Real Housewives of New Jersey or Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Although there is plenty of drama on the show, it is generally petty he-said she-said drama created by Tamra Barney. Ironically Barney is one of the only members of the show who ever makes it in the news, simply because of the never-ending speculation that she and her husband Eddie Judge are divorcing.
A recent article in OK! Magazine revealed that not only are Eddie and Tamra not on the verge of divorcing, but their relationship is stronger than ever. Rumors have been circulating for months now that Bravo was considering firing Barney because of the simple fact that no one on the cast could get along with her, and she is not registering well with their audience.
It seems like the only thing that kept Barney on Real Housewives of Orange County’s payroll was the fact that her constant presence on gossip sites and tabloids was boosting the show’s publicity and helping out ratings. If the article in OK! Magazine is legitimate and Tamra and Eddie are as happy as two pigs in mud, then will Bravo really keep her around? Divorces are always center stage on the Real Housewives franchises, and Tamra’s alleged divorce was what was securing her a place in the cast. So if there is no divorce, will Tamra have to kiss her reality TV bliss good-bye?
