Even though nobody from Bravo is admitting it just yet, it’s obvious that Teresa Giudice has been fired from the Real Housewives of New Jersey. What are they going to, film her after she gets convicted and goes to jail? Reality show execs might be greedy and manipulative, but they’re not THAT desperate. Plus, I don’t think it would even be legal to film her if she has to go to prison.
Plus, Teresa claims that she doesn’t know her future on the show, which is a sure-fire guarantee that she’s not coming back next season. In fact, she’s probably already been fired, especially since she’s been AWOL on the show recently.
Even though all the recent tabloid reports alleged that the network was upset with her for missing her filming commitments, I’m thinking that they already fired her. They may have given her a grace period before announcing it online, just so she’s able to get her story straight and whatnot. Plus, they’re not going to announce a major cast member’s departure mid-season, especially not when that cast member is still the most famous person on the show. This way, they can keep the speculation running, but they won’t have to deal with Teresa’s legal issues or her refusal to film for the show.
In the end, this is better for everyone. Teresa can concentrate on her family and her upcoming hearing, and Bravo won’t have to deal with her getting arrested. Sure, it might have been good for ratings, but it would have been a nightmare to deal with in terms of legal constraints.
What do you guys think? Is Bravo just hiding the news of her getting fired until the end of this season? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
