Leave it to remorseless pregnant Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe to make a last minute court plea to the judge to reduce their sentencing to house arrest for Tre and a light prison term for him. Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice are days away from being sentenced on October 2 for their fraud and tax evasion charges, months after they pleaded guilty. However, sources are now revealing [via Radar Online] that Teresa and Joe have ‘finally’ received some leniency from the court systems, probably after their begging and pleading got too annoying to ignore. According to these sources, Teresa and Joe had both begged the judge to not allow letters from former friends and angry business associates to be read in court. Fearing that these letters would be used against them, they pleaded that they be given some leeway on that matter, and whaddya know? Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice got what they wanted, yet again.
For whatever reason, the judge agreed to their request and has banned outside letters from being read aloud in court. So now, thanks to their plea deal and their incessant whining, Joe will probably end up with five years in prison [as opposed to decades] and Teresa will escape prison and be confined to house arrest. Not bad for tax evasion, fraud, and stealing millions of dollars, huh? Seriously, if the court wants to deter people from following in Teresa’s and Joe’s footsteps and breaking the law, they’re doing a terrible job. Right now, it’s looking like Teresa and Joe are just getting a slap on the wrist and a small punishment, as opposed to facing dire consequences. Heck, they’re even able to manipulate the court into acquiescing to their requests days before their sentencing!
