Tonight on ABC the wedding of the year takes place. The Bachelor Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici will share a dramatic new chapter of their love story with millions of viewers and Bachelor Nation when their much anticipated wedding airs. This will mark the first time ever a “Bachelor” wedding has been telecast live.
Weeks of planning and anticipation culminate with former “Bachelor” star Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici declaring their love for one another before family, friends, past “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” couples, stars and participants, who are all there to help them celebrate at the beautiful Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara. The guest list includes Trista and Ryan Sutter (Bachelorette 1), Ashley and J.P. Rosenbaum (Bachelorette 7), Jason and Molly Mesnick (Bachelor 13), Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried (Bachelorette 9), Deanna (Bachelorette 4)and Stephen Stagliano, Juan Pablo Galavis (Bachelor 18), Leslie Murphy (Bachelor 17), Arie Luyendyk, Jr. (Bachelorette 8), Jef Holm (Bachelorette 8), John Wolfner (Bachelorette 8), Charlie Grogan (Bachelorette 8) and Daniella McBride (Bachelor 17).
We will follow Catherine dress shopping at the atelier of celebrated wedding gown and red carpet dress designer Monique Lhuillier, where she consults with Monique on her dazzling gown and shoes. Catherine’s bridesmaids’ dresses will also be from Lhuillier. Jose Eber’s salon is the next stop for Catherine for a hair and make-up consultation with Eber and his team.
Ooo-la-la! Sean shops for lingerie for Catherine for their wedding night – when they will consummate their relationship. The couple visits renowned Mark’s Garden to check out the extravaganza of floral arrangements that will surround them on their special day. After the couple pledge their undying love to one another, it’s time to party! Not only will Duff of Charm City Cakes West whip up the wedding cake, but, as requested by Sean, he is also designing a 3-D groom’s cake that is in the shape of their beloved dogs, Lola and Ellie.

Tonight’s episode of The Bachelor: Sean And Catherine’s Wedding, opens at The Four Seasons Biltmore, in Santa Barbara. Chris Harrison opens the live special with a video reel of Catherine and Sean’s scenes in last season of The Bachelor.
122 days before their wedding, Sean and Catherine took a road-trip from California to Dallas, Texas. En route to Dallas, Sean and Catherine made a pit-stop at the Grand Canyon. Sean can see him and Catherine coming back several years down the road, “with their kids by their side.” Catherine took advantage of their time in the car to force Sean to discuss wedding plans. Catherine wants their wedding to be “grown-sexy” and “whimsical.”
Catherine and Sean wanted to live separately before their wedding. So, Catherine is moving in with one of Sean’s close friends in Dallas, and he is living a few blocks away in his loft.
97 days before Sean and Catherine’s wedding, Sean and Catherine pay Sean’s parents a visit in Dallas to tell them they have finally decided on a wedding date. Sean and Catherine ask Sean’s father Jay to officiate their wedding, and he happily accepts.
76 days before the wedding, Catherine went to meet her and Sean’s wedding planner Mindi in California. Catherine tells Mindi she wants their wedding to be “gown-sexy.” The wedding planner is excited about her new terminology, and thinks that it is refreshing that Sean and Catherine are waiting until their wedding night to have sex. After her meeting with the wedding planner, Catherine meets up with her fiancé Sean and fills him in on their “grown-sexy” wedding.
Up next we get to see clips of Catherine meeting with her “Creative Director” to discuss plans for her wedding dress. She has a pretty open mind about wedding dresses, as long as they are “grown-sexy.” She wants the dress to be beautiful, but more importantly she wants to “blow Sean’s mind when she walks down the aisle.” Catherine’s mother Cynthia tags along and offers her input on the dresses Catherine tries on. Meanwhile, Sean is shopping for lingerie to give Catherine on their wedding night. Sean has no idea what Catherine’s size is, but he tells the salesperson she is “a chesty woman.”
Days before the wedding Catherine had a photo shoot, and took boudoir photos to give to Sean as a wedding gift. She decided to wear some of the lingerie he gave her for the photo shoot.
It’s finally time for Sean and Catherine’s Bachelor Wedding, and the guests are beginning to arrive. Sean is still memorizing his vows, and Catherine has an entire team trying to touch up her hair and make-up.
The cello players begin playing, and Sean heads down the aisle with Mom and Dad, who will also be officiating. The wedding party begins to make their way down the aisle, including two tiny ring bearers, and super cute flower girl. Catherine is still in the Bridal Suite getting some final touches done on her make-up, and making sure her veil will stay intact.
It is finally time for Catherine Giuducci to make her way down the aisle. After a few deep breaths, Catherine heads down the aisle to the altar where Sean has been waiting patiently for her.
After a sweet speech from Sean’s Dad Jay, Catherine and Sean say their “I dos”, and then he turns the ceremony over to Sean and Catherine. They will be reciting vows that they wrote themselves. In Catherine’s vows she mentions the “love sprinkles” that she feels, and she promises “to love Sean until their children are old and gray.” Sean tells Catherine that “she has had him hooked from the beginning,” and he promises “to love Catherine until eternity.” Once they have completed their vows, they place their wedding rings on their fingers and pledge their love and loyalty for each other.
Sean’s Dad announces Sean and Catherine are now “officially man and wife.”
After Sean kisses his bride, they head back down the aisle together as Mr. and Mrs. Sean Lowe.
