RECAP: Tonight’s episode of The Bachelorette kicks off with Andi and the guys arriving in Brussels, Belgium. They check in to their hotel and Chris Harrison pays them a visit and reveals there are two individual dates in Belgium, but there will not be any roses handed out on the 1-on-1 dates. There will be a group date rose though. Chris gives them the first date card, revealing that Marcus will be going on a 1-on-1 date.

Marcus and Andi head out on their 1-on-1 date and tour Belgium, stopping at a few shops and doing some sight-seeing. Andi takes him to a Belgian restaurant to try to some mussels. While they are waiting for their food, they discuss when Marcus thinking about leaving the show. He says that it was because he was scared of all the feelings he was having for Andi. Marcus thinks that he can feel Andi falling in love with him.

Later that evening Marcus and Andi head out to a private dinner. Andi pushes him to tell him about his family, she wants to know what she is getting in to if they head to hometown dates together. Marcus confesses that his Dad isn’t really a part of his family, because he abandoned his family. He confesses that his childhood was abusive, and he used to despise his mom, but they are on good terms now.

Back at the hotel, another date card arrives and reveals that Nick, Dylan, Chris, and Brian are going on a group date with Andi tomorrow. Josh’s name wasn’t on the group date care, which means he got the other 1-on-1 date with Andi. The guys are a little upset, because Josh just had a 1-on-1 date two weeks ago.

Marcus returns from his 1-on-1 date, and fills the guys in on some of the details. Nick doesn’t want to hear about it though, so he decides to “make a move” and sneak out of the hotel room. He lies to the woman at the front desk and gets Andi’s room number. He shocks Andi and knocks on her door, and inviters her to go on a walk with him. They head outside, and Andi feels a little guilty about sneaking out with him. But, she also thinks it’s “so hot” that he is breaking the rules to see her.

The next morning Andi meets up with Josh for their 1-on-1 date in Gent. They decide to explore the town and do some sight-seeing and check out the shops. After they hit up a candy store, they check out the goose parade, which is literally a parade of geese led by a guy playing bag pipes. After the parade Andi and Josh sit down and eat together and she tries to get him to open up and talk about his feelings. She wishes he would be more open about his emotions and let his guard down. Andi does some prying and Josh finally admits he is starting to fall in love with her, which is a huge step for him. Andi takes him outside and says she has one last surprise for him, an outdoor concert by a band called American Young.

The next day Andi meets up with Nick, Chris, Dylan, and Brian for their group date. They decide to explore the Brussels countryside, and hike through castle ruins. Andi surprises them with rail bikes, which are two bikes with a cart between them. They guys peddle the bikes and Andi rides in the cart. They finally arrive at their destination, and Andi reveals they are on sacred grounds and at a monastery where monks live. There is one rule they must follow, no kissing within the walls of the monastery.

Andi spends some alone time with Chris first, and they head to a pottery barn next door to the monestary and basically reenact the hot scene from the movie Ghost, and Chris sits behind her and helps her make her pottery on the wheel. They head back to the other guys and Andi reveals that whichever one of the guys that receives the group date rose will get a 1-on-1 date and the rest of the guys have to go back to the hotel.

Brian decides it is time to step his game up though, so he spends some alone time with Andi and confesses to her that he is falling in love with her. He really wants to take Andi home to meet his mom, and he is confident that he has a good chance to get the group date rose.

Nick rubs the guys the wrong way when he says that he knows he is going to hometown dates. Brian is sick of how cocky Nick is, and he has had enough of his comments. Meanwhile Cocky Nick is telling Andi that he knows she is falling in love with him, and he plans to marry her.

It’s time for Andi to hand out the group date rose, which guarantees the guy that receives it will be going to hometown dates with her. The guys are less than thrilled when Andi reveals the group date rose is going to Nick. Nick is sure that since he received the group date rose, it means Andi loves him.

Chris, Dylan, and Brian sulk and head back to the hotel while Nick and Andi stay behind and make out. Marcus and Josh are annoyed that Andi doesn’t see through Nick’s BS, and they think that he is going to make it to the final two and quit. Meanwhile Nick and Andi play a game of “This or That.” And, talk about having children together some day. Andi says she has a surprise for Nick, and takes him to a fire work show.

Nick returns form his date with Andi, and the guys are still sitting in the hotel talking about him. He sits down with him and the tension is so thick you could cut it with a knife. Brian calls Nick out about trying to get in their heads, and Marcus says Nick likes to “prey on people’s insecurities.” Chris thinks that Nick talks way more about strategy than he does about Andi, and he thinks this is all a huge game. Nick insists that his number one priority is his relationship with Andi.

It’s time for the rose ceremony, Andi arrives and spends a few minutes with each of the guys as they make last ditch attempts to woo her before she hands out the final four roses. Nick already has a rose, so he has nothing to worry about. Andi passes roses out to: Josh, Marcus, and Chris.
Dylan Pettit and Brian Osborne have been officially eliminated from The Bachelorette.
