When you see the words Bravo and Housewives, what comes to mind? Perhaps some good old fashioned cat-fighting, drinking, jealousy, screaming, and competitiveness? Certainly! So, you can’t say you weren’t warned if you decide to watch the first annual Real Housewives Awards. Fans of the popular franchises can begin voting for the favorite housewife in each of the following categories beginning today:
Most Memorable Outfit, Most Shocking Reunion Twist, Loveliest Locks, Best Fight Locale, Rookie of the Year, Best Supporting Agitator, Party of the Year, Favorite Quote, OMG-est Moment of the Year, Outstanding Achievement in Extremely Short Form Live Action, Favorite Housewife City, and Lifetime Achievement Award (non-voting category).
Knowing how competitive these women already are, imagine what an awards show — where they’re pitted against one another — will do to them! Bravo has always promised drama, and I believe they will not disappoint with these new honors, soon-to-be bestowed upon the fan favorites. If you haven’t tuned in for a while (shame on you!) or just can’t make up your mind on who to vote for within each category, fear not. . . .
Bravo is planning a Housewives marathon on Saturday, February 15 from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. They’ll also show a second marathon on March 22; however, voting is open now and must be in by March 21. Andy Cohen will announce the winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award on March 20, while the network shows an exclusive first look at The Real Housewives of New York City. The winners of all but two of the remaining categories will be announced on March 23. The final two will be announced on Watch What Happens Live on the 23rd.
